Willie Young was the ref there, always arrogant and dismissive to the players. But Christian Dailly did make a bad challenge worth a booking there, and should have kept his mouth well shut.
He's got history for being a bit outspoken right enough.
That was a decent side we had in the Championship, I'd say overall quality has dropped nowadays. Always thought Grant Johnson got a hard time at Tannadice from the fans, and he could have had a better career. Now a partner in a solicitors and coaching at Raith Rovers, I think.

Brilliant goal by Brewster
I agree about Grant Johnson, had a lot of potential. In 96/97 Zetterlund and Dolan were good for one season, one of my favourites seasons, looking back maybe we should have given Johnson more of a chance as a long term option.

Was at this game but can't remember that much about the game.
What I can remember were some good old banter between the fans in the enclosure across from the main stand which United fans took a bit too far.

That and the dodgy heater chants had them 6 fingered, gap tooth, sister pumpers foaming at the mooth.

Was behind the goal at this game. Fecking soaked! Decided to not wear a coat that day and had a jumper on that weighed aboot 3 ton after getting so wet.
