Maybe the 'Rangers' interest, if true, would put to bed any notion that they won't do business with us.

However, I'd like to think that even if there have been enquiries from either club, we'd be discouraging them at this stage.

I must admit to being sceptical that Safranko is coming back, but just watched his highlight reel on YouTube, and boy would I be excited to have him back. Of course we live in the real world, so it isn't going to happen, but I thought the same about Shankland last summer.

Henderson is a weird one if true - 20 year old and has played 15 first teams games so far in his career. Is he really any better than the likes of Glass?

Not sure he would, Celtic don’t want him, more likely to be nominal fee (if anything) and a sell on percentage clause

Yeah nothing should be getting leaked until we have at least agreed a deal with the club.

Easy to say we are going for Nisbet, Safranko, Norwood etc but just pisses fans off when we ultimately fail.

So unless something is up our sleeve we will come out of a 2 week international break where we have been crying out for additions and we won’t have any new signings. Very disappointing.

Did the coaching staff really need to have their conference at the Fairmont in St Andrews, a 5 star hotel (and a pricey one at that)? Could this not be held at Tannadice in one of the lounges?

Don’t know if it’s fair to call it bullshit, United have clearly been trying to make deals happen for Pav and Norwood. Pav admitted as much on his Instagram.

As good as he was for us, would you honestly pay the 600k that his club are wanting for him?

Fwiw, I reckon Ipswich will soften their stance on Norwood towards the end of the transfer window, it seems like the boy doesn’t want to be there, and if no serious offers come in for him, they might end up in a position where they just need to take what they can get for him.

Not fussed about Safranko tbh, he’s not a bad player but is massively overrated amongst our support. Club could do with getting a move on tho.

Thing with safranko, hes out of contract next season, so say there asking 100/150 grand loan fee, if u pay that and get safranko signed on a pre contract in jan you’ve only paid the 100/150 grand for him

His club must be asking for a ridiculous loan fee, we must move on to next target, waiting about for boys for positions we’ve known we’ve need for 2 months isn’t good enough
