I'll go with Nads, think he'll get about 20 given how poor (on paper) the SPL looks this season.
Would be dissapointed if him or someone else doesn't break the 20 mark this term.
Thoughts ?

although i've stuck up for big BG until i'm purple in the puss, i'll be disappointed of we dinna sign a striker...would rather Nadir was playing in the hole behind a number 9...especially after losing Gauldy and possibly GMS

I think we defo need a big, strong CF mate.
One who can compete with cloggers like Russell Anderson and Frazer Wright.
I like Ciftci uptop, but am not opossed to him playing in the hole or even on the left (was excellent there once or twice last season, particulary at Tynecastle).

yeah agree with that, he's got the ability, like Gauld, to unlock defences with great through balls...its one reason i liked Graham as he seems to leead the line well and create space for those passes...he's to lightweight though and over eager imho...and old head up top and at the back would be my choices

Think that is/was part of BG's problem last season tbh you're right,he almost seems like he's trying to hard if that makes sense ?Like he's overthinking how to take his chance/s,rather than just naturally ping the ball home.
i would like to see the big guy come good, but think that might be a forlorn hope.We shall see.

yeah agree mate, cant see him being a 20 goal a season top man..pity as he's burst a gut rather than some over the years that have took a wage rather than play for the shirt
good to have a decent discussion thoug rather than childish slaying of the lad

Michael Higdon will be top scorer this season!
Ps, is this board definitely a Brian Graham bashing free zone??? If so, em on board.

I think so mate.
No axe to grind with anyone but just want to give this place a go.

It'll be Ciftci
It'll not be Graham as I think he'll end up on loan at Hibz

As the squad stands, I don't see anyone outscoring Nadir.
Ask again in two weeks, and hopefully the answer will be different!

if nadir hits ground running i think he could get 30 goals this season

Now that's ridiculously silly, no way he will get 30 goals

Ambitious perhaps,but not impossible.
Scored 18 in his debut season and there were a couple of spells of injury in that.
Suppose it all depends on serice and him staying clear of injury.
I reckon he should be aiming for at least 20 tbh.
Ross County
Hamilton
Dundee
St.Mirren
Kilmarnock
ICT
not exactly La Liga.

higdon almost got 30 for motherwell last year think it was around 27 goals in total so no doubt in my mind nadir could get 30 if he gets a good start to season
