Dundee United Question of the Day #20
Dundonian born Gary McGinnis was a Utd player for 7 seasons during the 80's fom '83 to '89. Finally leaving for St.Johnstone in early 1990 for 100k (then Saints club record fee).
Sadly for Gary he was never a regular and instead was a player who was only utilised when injuries hit the squad and as a consequence he only appeared 92 times for Utd over those 7 seasons.
He only ever scored 1 goal for Dundee United.

On my 10th birthday , 30 nov 1983
Remembered more for his own goal v Man United at Tannadice though

Yeah point taken lol.
Depending on how long this 'pre-season' lasts i might do another one. If i do i'll pose the question at say 8pm every night.
