On this day 1937
Our founder Pat Reilly sadly passed away.
Still irks me that theres no official recognition of him at Tannadice. Personally I'd take eddie Thompson's name off the east stand and rename it the PAT REILLY stand.

My Grandfather and Great-grandfather were at his funeral.
Huge turnout. Hes buried in Balgay Cemetery in a family grave.

If Eddie Thomson had had anything to do with the construction of the East Stand, I'd have little argument for keeping it named as such. But agree that it would be a fitting recognition to the real PR if the stand was renamed.
I'll change my username if that ever happens.
Edit: can we easily change usernames on here? I'd change it right now to Pat Reilly Stand.
