National Leagues null and void

Is this the start of the slippery slope? Started with games won’t be cancelled-happened. Can’t play behind closed doors-happened. Won’t stop leagues-happened. Leagues declared null and void- beginning to happen. If this does happen to us it’ll be a shitfest all round with legal claims all over the place. This surely can’t happen can it?

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Of course it can happen. Anything can happen. Talk of EFL doing the same.

Re: National Leagues null and void

Most important point - i really hope everyone reading this and their families are ok during this surreal time

If, as seems likely, there is no possible way to finish this season, then there are no easy options. The simplest one would be to resume the season when football can begin again, even if it means some players have moved on when contracts end and potentially some clubs have gone bust.

Making the season null and void would be an absolute clusterfuck and Liverpool and Celtic would be raging and rightly so, I think it's  unlikely but not impossible.

Not giving a fuck about scousers or celtic. I'd be fucking raging re my team.

If season is null and void I take it we get our season ticket money back?

Ideally finish the season, whenever that is, next best is average points from games played as it is and award from that.  Null and void really shouldn’t be considered at all.

Re: National Leagues null and void

The National Leagues have not been declared 'null and void'?  Barrow will likely be promoted, even if the top National League was wiped, as the Football League is short of a club (only 23 in League One this season).

But it's the Bet Victor Isthmian, Northern and Southern Leagues which have been voided, the eighth tier and lower.
