You have to wonder where some others get their info then regarding figures of over 2000 sold a week ago, just hope the assistant was referring to top tier sales opposed to overall sales otherwise i would be disappointed too unless we win in fine style

gunboat got his info from deciding himself that the bottom tier had been sold out as he knew someone with a top tier ticket when in fact the ticket office sold both from the start instead of selling one tier out first.
This was just after dinner time i got the figures so hoping there was a big push this afternoon and tommorrow
also cash gate through there

I think the cash gate will ensure we take at least 2k through.
Which no many teams will take away fae home,so maybe we shouldn't be too dissapointed.

I'm heading thru without a ticket, not much point heading up to Dundee to get one when there's cash gates anyway, sure there'll be a good few thinking the same.

Three of us are heading over to Motherwell to pay at the gate.
With United charging a fair bit in extra charges onto the ticket price, I would think many supporters outside of Dundee who require their tickets to be posted will just pay at the gate when give the option.

Aye United rip you off to fuck.

Just hope we don't go with Dow alone up front as he's hardly a target man and in fairness there's no anyone available who is which begs the question, who will he play up there and in what role?????
Offline
Erskine is too slow to play up there on his own. It'll be Dow because he's more mobile, particularly over the first 5-10 yards.

...........Dow............
GMS......Amo.........Erskine

Wouldn't be surprised to see the 4141 again (Rankin still out) with Telfer in there, but I've stopped predicting Jackie's teams now cos he knows best and it's not always predictable.

Ive got a feeling Butcher will start. They are seemingly saying they know how to stop us which Im pretty sure is code for they are going to kick us off the park. Get Pates and the Butcher in there with the brief to boot fuck out of everything that moves.

We'll have over 2000 there which is far from an embarrassment. How many other teams take 2000 to an away game in the first round of the Scottish Cup?

TBH this is the way i see it, i would hate to go through there tomorrow and not compete to an obvious change of tactics, match them man for man then bring on the football players

No going.
Made an absolute howling cunt of it last weekend.

Wouldn't be against Butcher starting to add a bit of steel tbh.
Jackie seemed pissed off that McManus said they figured us out..but they did.
2nd half they scored, had a perfectly good goal chopped off,hit the inside of the post and missed another couple of chances.Whereas we huffed'n'puffed a bit.
We need to match their aggression tomorrow aswell as take our chances.

Our finishing was awful. If we showed a bit of composure in the first half we'd have been at least 0-2 up and cruised it. Think we'll piss it tomorrow. By three or four.

If we score first tomorrow we'll hammer them. Someone is going to get it soon from us.

I'm nowhere near as confident as you boys i'm afraid.

I think we'll get beat. We're 'due' an early cup exit
