How is he not even on the bench today?
Nonsense tbqh.

no way he can go on loan if sow is out we need as many attacking options as we can get.

Absolute shambles, he cannot be allowed to leave!

Agreed. Logan Chlamers should never have been allowed out on loan either and Sam Stanton should never been allowed to leave. We are overloaded with central midfielders and desperately short of width and creative attackers/strikers now. Thon Pawlett wide right, Jesus Christ.

Apparently 100% going out on loan. On Twitter and (apparently) from the horses mouth

Just seen it. Off to Dundalk.
In light of all our injuries and lack of signings, this is a baffling decision. In fact Neilson should really be questioned here about decisions he's making which are going to be temperamental to the squad for the rest of the season.

I understand all of the above.
And agree that, given Sow’s injury, he probably should be kept where he is.
But I also don’t really buy into the Smith love-in.

For me though it’s a experienced player, which if u look at bench on sat, there was zero player who could have came on and made a difference, albeit smith might not have done that but it’s a option we didn’t have

I'd agree it's an attacking option we could have as Pawlett has not found any form yet and we are short of cover, especially if it takes longer to recover from injuries

Could be a free agent coming in.

We are finally in a situation where we could use him and now we decide to bin him.
Unbelievable decision and timing.
The club currently has one fit Striker.

If he was such an asset why has he ended up in the league of Ireland , Scottish football knew he was available for a loan but it looks like no takers.

Assist on his debut for Dundalk 👍🏼

I would class Appere as a striker as well but he has mostly been used out wide.
He seems to be keen to play 442 so he should stick Louis up top beside Shankland. First 3 or 4 games of the season it worked very well. He is like a battering ram at time when he is up top. Much more effective than out wide imo.
