Love what the club are all about these days

Davie Narey presenting Paul McMullan with his 100th appearance shirt.

Mo Malpas doing the same with Jamie Robson.

Johnny Russell getting presented to the crowd. This off the back off others like Jim McIntyre, Andy McLaren, Ray Stewart, Mogens Berg, Peter Houston etc etc.

Seeing pics on Twitter and WhatsApp of punters with Utd legends like Davie Dodds, Hamish, Heggy, Narey etc etc.

It seems the club are getting back to being one big happy family and the past acknowledging the present is a great touch.

Obviously all these things only feel good if we win, but I think they are helping create a feelgood factor. Not just with the fans but maybe inspiring the present players.

Well done Utd.

When we went 1 down yesterday, there was only positive noises from the crowd, even as it went on and we kept blowing chance after chance there wasn’t the usual mass frustration from the crowd.  There is definitely a feel good factor atm, which all these things do contribute to, and a belief in the side which is of course the biggest factor.

Yeh agree that was good. Tbh though their goal was poor out of fuck all and we had been absolutely battering then since kick off which helped the reaction of the crowd imo.

It is good the club are bringing people back to the club agree.
Someone brought it up yesterday that it would be better to bring them out onto the pitch at half time though as alot of people aren't in the ground for 2.50pm which is a good point.

On Robson getting his 100 appearances shirt presented to him yesterday the icing on the cake for him really would have been getting a goal which he nearly had.

I was hoping the club would tie Johnny Russell to a chair until he signed a contract with us. Ach well I can but dream.

I've edited out a bit of the post that I'm replying to *as I'm a complete neep* but my post is in reply to a point that Bowers made.

I think that the reason that the "Legends" are brought out just before kick off is to get us punters up on our feet, clapping, and making a bit of noise for when the team actually come out of the tunnel to start the match.

If the Legend was to be wheeled out at Half Time there would be a similar amount of people not in their seats at that time too due to going for some scran or a pish. Personally, I quite like the way that they are doing it just now but that may be because I'm usually in my seat about 20 mins before kick off so I'm no missing the festivities.

Crackin reception for Russell on Saturday too.
