Those that bought their season cards before June 14th should have them by now. Anyone who bought after that date will have to go to ticket office before game and get a paper ticket.

Shambles

They inherited the real shambles. It does appear the club have been guilty of taking on too much in too short a space of time. In amongst all the appointments the club has made, some extra hands in the shop for the jobs of sorting out things like season tickets might have been good. The hardworking staff in the shop appear to have been too few in number to deal with this task.

I think the hold up has also been the cards arriving from outwith?
Noticed that you cant buy tickets for the dode or east upper tiers online yet they are working on that.
Caley fans can pay at the game on Saturday but home fans cant.

It is a shambles.
I was told ‘sometime in July’
it’s August & hundreds & hundreds of people won’t have theirs. I can understand teething problems etc but come on. People who renewed in mid June have to wait nearly 2 months.
Lots of overhauls at the same time. Bit off more than we could chew here, it seems.

I feel those re organising the club are getting a harder time due to the East Fife result and the feeling the squads still to be boosted.
Not sure the critisism it justified as so much is being done in a short time.
I've the same worries as maist fans.
Without listing the efforts the new regieme have tried, I think some folk need to get a grip.
Time will tell & I might be wrong if money is badly spent but come on tae fuck, greetin about yer entry method is the last of my worries.

I think the opposite of you. I think Brannigan is actually getting cut a bit of slack from some because he's new. If David Southern was responsible for this he would be slaughtered.
Bottom line is someone who bought a season ticket on June 15th still doesn't have it 6 weeks later and in time for the first game of the season. And now has to go and queue up for a ticket on the day in a queue probably hundreds deep.
To me, that's a shambles.

That's a fair point.

Dependent on how many people have to go to tannadice and pick a ticket up is a disaster waiting to happen imo.

All of this is under Mal Brannigan's remit.
You could say that it's good that he clearly wants to augment change at Tannadice and modernise aspects of the club.
But what with the scaffolding up during two home games, lateness of the home kits revealed and still no news at all about the away kits and now this season ticket shambles...well, let's just say it's been an inauspicious start from him in his role.
Or are we not allowed to pass judgement as he's so new to the role?

That isn't thinking the opposite of me. I agree with these points. You answered my point like a politician.

Of course we can pass judgement.
he came out a few weeks back in an interview and cleared a few things including the delay with kit due to the lateness of the deal with Macron. We have always had our kits very early and this has caused the issue with most of the fans due to this year being so late. Yes it is still disappointing we are yet to see an image of the new away kit august was mentioned for sale i think? or was that just for it being unveiled? The new owners want alot of work done on tannadice and the club and like said too much in one go this summer for me and its coming to a head with a few things and people are pissed off with it. IMO they should have held off with the new season ticket and ticketing system until next summer which would have given them alot more time to sort it rather than it being rushed in the past few months.
People keep mentioning the scaffolding being up during 2 home games both of which failed to see over 3k fans attend. I do not see a problem with that being up as it was a very good reason for it and the work should have been done long before this summer.

Strange comment that Mr P.
I answered honestly, and true to myself, as I always do (even when it's not a popular opinion).
You intimated that you felt that some criticism is only coming to guys like Brannigan because of the EF result. Yes?
My point is I think he has been getting cut some slack already because he's new to the club.
My point about thinking the opposite to you was because I felt fans have actually tried to be positive about these new appointments despite some (shall we say?) 'teething problems' being very obviously prevalent even this early into their incumbency.
Whereas you believe that some fans have taken the first negative they can to attack these new appointments, as I read it.
Not sure how you have taken that to mean i have responded to your reply in a flippant manner
I'm just giving my honest opinion.

Seems to be an awful lot of blame getting adjudged to both Macron and Future Ticketing.
p.s. the scaffolding isn't a big issue. But doesn't help the players shooting into not one stand with Utd fans behind it in a home game imo (albeit we shouldn't losing to East Fife 99 times out 100, at home, regardless).

In a way this is actually piling more pressure on the management team. If we win on Saturday this goes away. If we lose then it adds the pressure which could have been avoided.
We got ours the day we could so received them in the earliest batch and won’t have a problem on Saturday. I like Mal Brannigan and the work he’s done but this isn’t a good look. Hopefully it’s sorted pronto.

Its far from the perfect whoever people choose to blame whether it falls at Mal Brannigan Macron or Future ticketings door. I think people are making too much of a deal about things.
Hopefully the season ticket delay is sorted asap. We have a few weeks until our next league game which i would think will clear the issue.

I blame Stephen Thompson.
I hope they give the east stand seats a good hosing down as they'll be manky 🤣🤣

The statement at the top is poor. Not a hint of an explanation or apology to the punters affected.

I'm a wee bit puzzled about the situation.
Why, when it became obvious to the club that they wouldn't have all the season cards available on time, didn't they email a one off QR Code to those who wouldn't receive the card for the ICT game?
That would seem a simple solution to overcome queues at the shop.

Good idea but I'd imagine they've not got everyone's email address
They could and should have posted tickets out with an explanation letter to those affected

He is right loon.
The East Fife result was a stinker, couldn't have happened at a worse time & we never saw it coming neither.
Very unfortunate.
