Some very tough names to leave out when thinking about our best 11 from 2000-present day. Settled on this one. Toughest choices were CB and a partner for big Daly. Could have easily been Dods beside Webster and Goodie with Daly. Also very tough to leave out Armstrong/GMS but the influence Robson/Conway/Miller had on specific seasons couldnt be ignored.
Would like to think that this team, all playing at their top level at the same time, would have been something very special.
Have I made any glaring omissions that I've not picked up on? And would anyone make any changes?
One big thing I'm taking from this is that not one player from the last 4 years makes it anywhere near this team. That needs to change asap.

Not one player from the championship years would make the 5th choice 11.

I love Malpas to bit but by the year 2000 her was more like an on-field coach than a player

Are we talking about what they were like at that time? That's different then...if it's just players who played since 2000 then he's 100 percent number one pick.

They were Premiership... Going for a Championship 11 BUT if you want to play that game I think it would be too emotionally distressing to talk about the duds we've had since 2000.

Khul for Kuate.
Probably get shot down for this but Murdoch shouldn't be in there. Toshney was far worse.

I was thinking about a team of players since we went down.
I thought when Toshney actually played, he was better than Murdoch.

Time is a great healer. Toshney was absolutely awful + we paid circa 90k for him.
Murdoch got a lot of unwarranted abuse imo. He wasn’t great but he was obviously a target for the boo boys.
