As far as an away kit for the season goes I would not mind seeing the club or Macron trying something different in either colour or style, with pink being the exception.

What about dark blue?  That would be a massive no from me and I'd imagine 99.99% of united fans..

IMO the home kit should be based on tangerine shirt, black shorts and tangerine socks and the away can change from season to season, excluding pink or dark blue.  Shades of red and yellow would more than likely be out too as they are too similar to tangerine.

I'd like to see something that is a genuine bespoke design for the club, but I know that won't happen as we aren't a big enough proposal to the kit manufacturers.

I like the idea of maybe one season having a kit that hints at the Dallas Tornado kit that we wore back in '67.  All tangerine with a royal blue and white trim.  I don't know how well that would go down with others.

Dundee are Macron and their new home kit looks like it’s bespoke so you never know.

It might be bespoke but it looks hideous. The sponsors name on the front , holy fuck!!!

If you use google chrome you can always search incognito, but you would still know you'd searched for it

I think the badge on the Dundee jersey has been well designed, with the wreath (?) less prominent around it.

But the sponsor? Although they've removed the tangerine colour from the sponsor's name and replaced it with yellow I note. Which is quite sensible.

Macho Man, was the blue on the Tornadoes jersey not more of the sky rather than royal variety?

Maybe its somewhere in between, if like me you consider Man City blue to be sky blue and not the sky in the photo that I've posted.

Thinking about this, tangerine with blue would make us look like Irn Bru tins.

Re: The new away strip

saw it mentioned elsewhere but the background of the fixtures had diagonal orange stripes.

Is this a wee clue that we are getting a remake of the 84-89 strip? black v-neck, diagonal shiny stripes etc would look ok. tbh the macron logo isn't too dissimilar to the adidas one (if you squint a fair bit!)

tbh i always liked the bukta one with the shield...

as an off the wall suggestion, just the lion off of the badge in a watermark style would look decent

Wondered about that when we released the news to announce we'd struck a deal with Macron...

Then this as you point out Tangy...

Keeper shirts are emulating the diagonal stripes design...

Re: The new away strip

Aye - noticed that. The stripes seem to vary in width - so wondering if that would be used to make some sort of pattern?

Seriously, when are these being revealed?

Can't remember them ever being this late into the Summer.

Probably not until we have to so as to maximise sales of the hame ain 1st. Monthly n' weekly wages spending in more affordable gaps will ensure max sales of baith.

Frustrating, aye. Good marketing, mibbies.

Partick away on 9th August. We will need an away strip that day.

Re: The new away strip

Picture it as diagonal charcoal/black n' grey stripes like the hame ain with tangerine numbers & details & it's probably that.

Nae inside info, just goin by the previous clues. I'll be happy with that but if no I've faith in Macron tae come up wi another cracker.

See tbh, the clubs still a fucking shambles. Late getting the strips in, not even out for the start of the season! Scaffolding still in place when the seasons started, the farce with the shop ‘upgrade’, could print tickets oh no couldn’t print tickets, friendlier taking place and no social media coverage to even say there’s a game on, the media team still hopeless.

The signs aren’t really good and thats before we get onto the footballing side.

Re: The new away strip

We have a long wait until next Saturday to put last nights result ‘to bed’

If no signing news, it wouldn’t be a bad move to roll out some away kit news. Wee distraction / talking point

On a couple of your points the club imo have tried to do much in the 1 go which hasn't helped.
The ticketing has taken a good chunk of time and could maybe have been left to next year rather than rushed through this close season.

They have explained the situation and delay with Macron. The deal will now benefit United unlike before with shop.

The scaffolding still being up has not really caused a problem for 2 games when we have had below 3000. I preferred them only opeening the lower Dode Fox for these games rather than have Utd fans split over 2 tiers in each of the East and Dode.

Re: The new away strip

No one had a real problem with the scaffolding, lack of away kit etc until the second East Fife goal went in. Now it’s overdrive. Finding faults in everything.
