So you’d rather whole families had to queue or everyone has to take time off work to get in the queue?
No but I think it’s a disgrace someone can walk in and get 300 odd tickets

Yes.
Would you rather 80 people get 1600 tickets?

Should have been a max ticket per person I understand they’ll have got it for the bus but really doesnt sit well people can walk in wee hundreds of tickets and stop people queuing last night from 1030 no getting tickets

Be someone queuing for tickets for their whole supporters club, maybe two or 3 clubs doing it through one boy. Even Brannigan was standing at the door confirming that multiple people walked out with in excess of 50 tickets each.

I know some clubs were queuing to get them but none for near that amount.

In the queue for hours failed to get one. Thats the way it goes.
If we lose on Thursday might still be able to pick up one up.

I can imagine this season ticket thing will now be a tasty affair tonight

A lot of disappointment, including our bus which was awarded no tickets. Credit to young Logan who queued all night with the vouchers but never got through the door.
If we'd had our wits about us, we'd have had a back up plan of phoning today with season ticket details, but the whole thing was a gamble.
I was furious at United last week for providing conflicting info regarding cash gates for ICT, but this week see their difficulties. Part of it is down to the way these games are organised by the SPFL within a short time scale, and also because the Final is not often at a decent sized venue, as a one off game perhaps.
Thinking of going through to the west anyway, maybe try for a ticket in the St Mirren end, failing that find a pub in Glasgow and watch it. But there's always a chance of a ticket being on the go outside the ground.

Boys were queuing for their squad, their bus.
Taking shifts.
That’s what we did. 11 tickets. 5/6 of us took it in turns.
Offline
Dunno if it's factual, but the glitch which occurred with the St Mirren ticket site allegedly sold quite a few tickets for the United end over the weekend, perhaps explaining why United reportedly got less than 1500 tickets for a 1633 stand.
IF TRUE, if only we'd known............

Not long home from my 8 hour shift outside the shop to come away empty handed so prepare for a bit of a rant.
As infrequently as it may be used, we need a loyalty points system for games like this. I’ve missed 3 games in this entire season (Alloa in the Betfred cup, both Falkirk away league games.)
I’m not begrudging the season ticket holders who got them but if folk had large numbers of vouchers and were buying for a group it rubs people the wrong way that folk who queue aren’t getting and people at home are.
What’s even more annoying is that I’m willing to wager that there will be at least a few people who don’t own season tickets who’ll have procured a voucher one way or another and landed a ticket.
Also like to note that I don’t think this is United’s fault in any way other than they maybe could have limited the number of tickets per person, regardless of the number of vouchers they possessed. We were given a crap allocation because of St Mirren’s dinky stadium so we couldn’t do much about it.
This match should’ve been played in the capital so at least every season ticket holder would have been able to see the game, but hay ho, win over the two legs and I won’t give a flying f*ck.

I’ve no idea. I was standing in the shop when 2 of the people working there confirmed it was indeed the case though. Along with multiple boys walking out with in excess of 50 tickets each.
