Re: Šafranko linked with Aberdeen

Been our best player in 3 years down here (with possible exception of Mohsni or Andreu.)

Will have no gripes if he doesn’t return and will still be quietly hoping he can do well enough to get himself a big move somewhere in a couple years.

Re: Šafranko linked with Aberdeen

Would be brilliant if we could get a deal for him. I think the potential sell on may help our owners in paying good dough.

Re: Šafranko linked with Aberdeen

Not sure if I’d want to pay £100,000s for a player yet. We are still not far on from when we could not afford any spend on a player.

Still important that there is good value in any signing we make.

Best of luck to Pavol. Hope he does well to get us promotion.

After that wish him well if he can get more money elsewhere. We have Sow and Clark that can play up front for us in SPL and RN will still be playing his 4-2-3-1 so we don’t need many strikers

Re: Šafranko linked with Aberdeen

All depends on potential recruitment, investment & return.
Feel we are in a different place with Ogren & Co. but early days and time will tell.

If you don't buy you don't sell on. If you loan in and boost their career on you might bring in higher standard loanees.

All down to the new owners and new folk in charge of all that matters.

Clark is at best a top end of the championship striker but certainly not gold enough for the premiership. Neilson has also been playing two up top recently so realistically we need a minimum of 3, ideally 4 strikers for next year.

There are three crucial factors in the well being of a football club, youth development, youth development & youth development. As often as not short termism prevents this. The Dutch model is the one to envy right now, their years in the relative doldrums are over now because they've been busy sorting out their academies good & proper. They addressed the issue by looking long term & the results you'll see in World Cups to come.

I'm quite pleased at how we are addressing the issue since the takeover, there are some good signs already coming out of the U/18s etc.
