I'll see the front of a programme tomorrow, but is there somewhere online to view the image today?

The organisers should consider how this might affect donations to the fund.
On the other hand, maybe the media dept are playing an early Hunty Gowk.

I hope it's just a bad artist's impression of the future design.
Would be a disaster and waste of money if it turned oot like that.
Doubt it's been created yet. If it has at least it can be melted doon and reformed into something that looks like it has to.

Its still a long way off being made but that picture doing the rounds does it no favours at all.
Neither does the tshirt they are punting or msd Mike being involved

If this is the statue they intend to have built, who the fuck gave it the go-ahead, was it a concensus among the steering group?
If so I have serious doubts about the people running this, and as people who know me will tell you I have a great love of all things Warhol, and if this t-shirt is supposed to be a cool representation, I think it's a lazy, pish poor design that smacks of "they're United fans they'll buy it because of the cause, doesn't really matter what it looks like" for me it smacks of let's play on the heartstrings, and lets make you feel like a cunt if you don't buy into it.
I love the idea of honouring "Wee Jum," and not before time, but let's make it something we can all take pride in being part of, not what seems to be a "if you don't stand too close and the sun's no' in your eyes and if you try to squint a wee bit, and read the inscription on the base, you'll ken wha it is, type o' deal.
I really hope the steering committee haven't signed up for this abomination, and I hope I can meet some of the steering committee tomorrow and direct them towards Specsavers, because as it is, from reaction towards this and the t-shirts I think they've showed a complete lack of taste.

The t-shirts look like they've been knocked up in MS Paint in 5 minutes. I reckon you could knock up something a lot better in 10 minutes on an iphone app!!

Bit of infighting amongst the steering group seemingly. One boy saying that's not the final image another saying it is.

Very strange that they have a Celtic fan on the steering group also. Whos attitude on social media last night towards another lad on the steering group and others was ridiculous.

Never gonna raise the money needed while mb is involved.
Online!
I won't put money into any venture that Barile is involved with.

It was on the facebook page. The post was taken down today.
If anyone from the steering group is on here can they explain why a Celtic fan is involved in the group?
