Can this be another twist in the title race?
We now play 2 league games before County do. As it stand we are currently 8 points behind them.

9 if you include goal difference.
It's a no from me. That's as a fan
But the players need to give 100% believing it could be done, and at least finish comfortable second to give us a breather before our first playoff game

There was no hope if we hadn’t won tonight.
3 matches before the trip to Dingwall. Alloa h, Pars away and QOS h.
The home matches are very winnable and a performance like tonight next Tuesday would give us a chance v Pars. We need wins.
It’s the hope that kills you. Just need to take it match by match.
No room to drop any points at all now

Statistically there is a chance, but, contrary to most folk around me and on the bus home, I thought County looked like a team which will win more than they will lose. Their defence is shaky, but they looked determined in the middle and displayed ability up front, while l I thought United mostly passed the buck, didn't want to take responsibility and generally looked nervous.
But for the first wee while, they looked a better side overall than United.
Alternatively, maybe I've just become a moany old bastard.
Online!
Now I am not optimistic, but the way the games have fallen, there is a chance that if we can win the next three and take momentum up to Dingwall then we could find ourselves top of the league after that game (albeit with RC having 2 games in hand). It would be very interesting to see if RC have the bottle if that scenario transpires. It wont happen though. As stated above it's the hope that kills you.
Nervous, jittery, uncomfortable, lacking confidence, not really wanting the ball but I'll take it if I must, feeling the weight of expectation, feeling the angst from the terraces.
We're all of these things but last night did well to overcome our foibles with some good old-fashioned agro.
Can I shout out for my hero, Benjamin Siegrist? He had half a dozen v i s's (very important saves) especially 2nd half. Anyone remember sustained County attack ended when Benny Boy made a great block at his near post just by standing big. That was going in. About 75 mins? There were a good few others too. Shame his kicking's shite.

Agree with this. It won't happen. All we can do is exert as much pressure on them as we can and take it from there. Even if we can't catch them, obtaining second is extremely important.

Benjamin Siegrist is just a big laddie, not a strong goalkeeper for me. He did, however, produce some good stops, but also fumbled and dropped the ball twice, and kicking was poor. At least we didn't faff about at the back as much as we have done recently.

I look at Celtic 10 clear and think ‘Rangers have no chance’
Then I look at us 8 back and come up with ways it could happen.
Rose tinted specs, and I’d have it no other way.

Dreams of automatic promotion shattered now after tonights 1-1 draw in Dingwall.
We really need to finish 2nd now to stand a chance in the play offs.

2nd isn't a given either. Ayr have 3 games in hand and we play them next Friday. We must finish 2nd imo

Never felt at any point of the season we had enough about us to finish top. However, will be severely pissed off if we don't finish second. Think ICT will overtake Ayr eventually, much resting on today's match.
IF the leagues finish like I'm guessing, these would be the fixtures we could face (based on the dates supplied by SPFL):
Wednesday 15 May, ICT v United
Saturday 18 May, United v ICT
Thursday 23 May, United v St Mirren
Sunday 26 May, 2019 St Mirren v United
Feel free to make your own guesses and hopeful assumptions.

Well we’ve not been top all season so fair to say we have not deserved it.
Rossco were so poor last night though. Disgrace that they are heading up.
It is essential that we are second.
I do think we’ll end the hoodoo v Ayr and win on Friday.
There are 3 choices for semi and final if we get there.
My order of preference would be Pars, ICT, Ayr - I actually have feeling we’ll get pars as they are form team coming in - ICT are hard to beat though with all their draws
For the Prem. I have a feeling it will be Hamilton. Fine as we owe them one but I’m guessing Reynolds etc couldn't play on plastic.
St Mirren I think have gradually improved over season and would be toughest opponent.
The Fun. Weakest and most comedy opponents. BUT at this stage of our development under Robbie I don’t yet have full confidence in team. Too much at stake where united have let us down so much this last year or two! Maybe that could be the mega happy ending to a sh*t 4 seasons

I actually think Dundee have something about them. Every highlight I see there's always a spell when they're countering at speed and look dangerous. Defence is garbage mind you. I've given up on any hope of going up--as I've said before--false optimism followed by a big wet pump of a let down. Robbie will be gone before the start of next season imo.

Pars were the form team till we beat them then Ayr beat them. I would prefer to meet them right enough as between them, ICT and Ayr they are the team I would feel most confident of beating. St Mirren would be the team I would want in the playoff final.

Dundee are shite. End of. You must get dodgy highlights in Japan.

Only saying what I see. With the negative tactics of us trying to hang on to 1 goal leads any team that plays us will put us under pressure. Hopefully Robbie will realize this and attack like fuck in the play offs.

I've seen dundee play well too. They've been pretty unlucky at times when I've watched. Would rather play st mirren

I agree. Unless we totally turned it on (for the first time this season it would be) I can't see us beating them.
I would rather play St Mirren or Hamilton but even then I wouldn't be counting our chickens.
I can see the return of the Dundee Derby next season but sadly not in the premier league.
Apologies for Sunday morning negativity, not like me, I must be getting weary

Totally agree. Dees will scrape a playoff. Theyre no that bad. Like us when we went doon.. just lacking that luck.
They'll pump us if we get past ayr or ict. Which we wont.
I seem to he the only one who thinks we are fucking brutal. We win games cos teams have bad days. We're fucki g shit and will stay down.
