Most of the ground is still there, slowly crumbling away. How the old floodlights have came falling down I don't know. See it most mornings and wish I could buy it for some strange reason so I can return it to its former glory.

Top two are greyskull. Third one is Tinto Park - home of Benburb F.C in Govan (played here when I was 11, first time I had played in a 'proper' football ground). Fourth is Hampden.

Didn't for the life of me recognise it, probably because the main stand isn't in shot. Thought it was Tinto, just read an article about it recently and recognised the covered terrace. Tbh when you think 11 years old on a pitch like that and that size its no wonder developement went down the shitter.

Say what you want about Hampden but there were few grounds like that anywhere on the planet for atmosphere when you see pics like that above with thousands inside and out the ground.

I liked this ground I have to admit and it didn't need too many packed in to get an atmosphere.
