Re: Best Noughties Album - Round 1/Game 5

Thanks for the numbers once again MockChop.

The 4th game of Round 1 witnessed a low-scoring affair won by 'Neon Bible' by Arcade Fire. Meaning it will now progress through to Round 2 (seeded) as a consequence of said victory. Joining it in the 2nd Round also (albeit unseeded) will 'Music of the Spheres' by Ian Brown. Eliminated at the first hurdle are Fleet Foxes with their self-titled album and The Vines entry 'Winning Days'.

The band that became fashionable to hate because they were good? Not fond of their new stuff  but Parachutes is a classic

Listened to all 4 albums over the past 2 days.

To my surprise i really enjoyed Keane - Hopes and Fears

Some really well crafted songs on that album. Good vocals too.
