Good guy.
Seems like a sensible, decent bloke who’s done his homework on the club and has realistic, yet big expectations on what’s needed to get this us going again.
We should all be very grateful to him for stepping in and stepping up, as things were starting to get very desperate for Dundee United. Hope his time in charge is a big success.

One thing he did say "one of the biggest assets we bought was Tannadice". So Hugh Duncan has been paid back then?

Heard that a Managing Director is being officially appointed this week. Also heard there's been loads of Glaswegian boys mulling about the club in the past week. Would guess that they are from Revolution Sports and there might actually be some sort of movement on things this week.
Neilson said in the Courier that Ogren is coming over in the middle of the month. Not sure if that means he'll be here for the Pars game on the 12th or during the following week.
As a Dundee United supporter of 40 years, I wondered why Ogren wanted to buy us. Then, I saw the RGS involvement. I have been aware of RGS for some time, because it was set up by Tony Asghar. I went to school with Asghar (Bearsden Academy). I know he joined the Police and worked with the CID in Clydebank. The other thing I recall about Asghar was he was good friends with Kenny Moyes (brother of David).
If you look at the RGS website, it all sounds terribly impressive, but, if you remove the gloss, are they not just a bunch of middlemen? You have some ex police (sorry law enforcement), ex army and a few others, but, what are their credentials?
My feeling is that RGS was given the job of marketing our club to an impressionable American. It looks like jobs for they boys.
