Seen on Twitter that he has apparently agreed a deal to sign for Dundee...

Re: Craig Curran..

Would be a dream start to the window if he goes to them.

Re: Craig Curran..

Seems it last week From a Dundee fan that apparently they wanted him. Not fussed at all tbh.

Re: Craig Curran..

Hopefully true, boy runs about, but that’s about it, first touch of a rapist as well. Why we ever thought it was a good idea to hand him a 3-year deal is beyond me. Big wages too, apparently.

Re: Craig Curran..

This has to be pish. A wild guess fuelling some wishful thinking.

Would be happy to see him go but just can't see it

Re: Craig Curran..

If he’s going I’m sure there will be a good few to follow him oot the door.

Re: Craig Curran..

I'll go against the grain and say there's a player in Curran, and see him as a better asset in the Championship than the guys who have kept us here or played at this level all their careers.

However, given his 3 year contract, and the rumour about the level of wages, it'd be good to see him move.

Some of the names mentioned as coming our way aren't inspiring. Hopefully daft speculation.

Same sentiments from Carlisle fans for a couple of years.  Then by the time they were shot of him... he'd scored 8 in about 60 appearances.  Couldnt hit a barn door.   I've barely seen him this year to be fair.

Whether there is a player there or not.  A 3 year deal man... you just shake your head eh. the fk were we thinking there

It will be a 3-year deal on two-thirds wages.
He'll not be bursting the bank anymore than others on a two-year contract.

Re: Craig Curran..

Glad we have gotten a player i don't rate off the wage bill.

That he had 2 and a half years left on his contract makes it all the better.

Strange that he was even on our bench today.

Think the only reason he was on the bench is because we had no one else.

I just think considering we knew he was away to Dundee right after the game we could maybe have put another player or a kid on the bench.

We were never bringing him on afterall (in case he got injured and the deal was scuppered).

Strange one, for me.

It was strange, but that whole bench today was absolutely woeful.  Not a player among them. Obv except the new boy.

Re: Craig Curran..

You think if we are wanting rid of someone like Loemba you could give him 10 minutes and it gives him.

1) A shop window
2) A chance to prove Neilson wrong

Re: Craig Curran..

We are limited very limited.. Neilson obviously has little or zero faith in the young lads or they would have been on the bench previously and today to give us an option.

He's no different to us I would think in that he doesn't trust many of the first team or the reserves/kids. With the exception of the Safranko, two center halfs and the two center mids none of the rest look after the ball.

I think it will be one out one in for the rest of the window but how we manage to offload some of these guys is a mystery to me.

Should be easy. Weve just got rid of a boy with 30 months left on his contract.

If we are depending on 1 in 1 out then we are fucked.

Whoever done the negotiating deserves a pat on the back for that one but their work has just begun. We need someone that could sell ice to the Eskimos when we are talking about Rabbitch, Barton and Loemba these guys are right up there with Emil Lyng.

On the one in one out idea I don't believe that's the case & I'm fine with that vibe coming out of the club whether said or reading between the lines.
I have a feeling we are in a better place than that but you don't want to play it any different in the Jan market, especially when agents and other teams ken you have new owners and a craving for changes in the squad.

Re: Craig Curran..

I probably appreciated Curran for having the effort more than anything especially when we've lacked that but fkn relieved he's away and mair so getting him off that long term contract.

My patience was gone with him on the 22nd Dec.

Don't know how he can flourish, hope it's no wi Kenny currant bun Miller.
