Re: Jamie Robson

Well done, 75 posts to help bring the knowledge of this outrage to the public at large.
It's right to become an issue that the nation should become aware of.
The young perpetrator needs the sternest of lessons & deserves the severest of punishment.
Executioners at the ready.... you're all out there.

Jamie Robson must be scratching his head & thinking, WTF?
A young guy trying to make his way in the fickle world of pro football finds himself having to deal with this utter shit which is being flogged to death by hypocrites anonymous. Some of whose misdemeanors past & present I'll bet would make JR's action look as severe as nicking a sweetie from the pic 'n' mix.

Look in the mirror & give it up FFS

Re: Jamie Robson

So how about you guys show the poor lad some solidarity and black up for the next match and let us know how you get on then?

<Disclaimer>I'm pretty sure it won't go well, so I wouldn't recommend it (just in case anyone wants to suggest I am encouraging someone to commit a hate crime )</Disclaimer>

Re: Jamie Robson

I think he's a daft young laddie, nothing more than that, it's a pity that a lad so young gets pulled over the coals for something like this but the club had to act, hopefully he's learned his lesson.

I don't see you complainers getting all hot and bothered about the 1000s of our young females who countrywide  are being groomed and  sexually exploited. Something which  merits genuine outrage rather than the phoney "holier than thou" bullshit directed at a young man having a bit of fun.

Yeah because a football forum is the very place for folk to come on and post their feelings on that type of topic.

This discussion has been ridiculous from the start, but it’s reached a new level here.

It points to the sheer hypocrisy of folk getting het up over a trivial matter while totally ignoring the crime mentioned above. Shows where their priorities lie. This is something which affects the lives of the victims and their families, whereas the Robson incident merely affects the sensibilities of   self-righteous busy-bodies.

This is a DUFC forum, this thread is about a DUFC player making a cunt of himself... again.  How you can make a connection between that and rape I have no idea.

If you want to start a debate about rape, then why don't you do that in the part of the forum for chatting about other things than DUFC or football and we can discuss it there?

Re: Jamie Robson

The inherent racism in some of the comments on here is really concerning.

The laddie is clearly misguided.  He's done something that personally doesn't offend me but I wouldn't do myself because it clearly offends some people (perhaps even some of his teammates).  For the Daily Mail brigade (the opposite of the PC brigade) to jump on this bandwagon with racist undertones about the grooming and rape of young girls is equally and profoundly stupid.  Even those who qualify to be genuinely offended by Jamie's actions wouldn't think that his 'crime' was anything like as severe as what has happened in Rotherham and other English cities.
I agree that the matter has been dealt with.  Jamie better start thinking about making himself a better footballer.  We should close this thread.

Well put Finn, sums the whole thing up perfectly for me.
