I'll go with that too Smedz.

p.s. would like to see Loemba also on the bench though.

Watson maybe provides better cover across the back 4?
Bouhenna can count himself lucky if he keeps his place.
Wish it was January.

7 games now under Neilson & not much sign of Glass, Loemba, Matty Smith & Wardrop.

Would drop Edge and put Frans back in a CH. Murdoch back in at RB for Watson, King dropped for Glass. Safranko and Clark up top.

Is that not picking 12 mate?

Keeper - whoever, they’re both poor
Wardrop, Bouhenna, Frans, Robson
Aird, Fyvie, Glass, McMullan
Clark, Safranko

Loemba, Watson, Smith, Curran, Stanton, Murdoch on the bench

Edge and King as far from the pitch as possible.

I won’t predict a full line up. Frans will be in, and possibly Murdoch.

McMullan for King, and Curran up with Safranko. Actually, that might be it.

A win of any kind, clean sheet would be great.

Re: Morton v Dundee United ~ Saturday 8th December (3.00pm)

Quite a few going for the reintroduction of Robson again.
Booth like the rest of them had a very poor Friday night but still remains a far more reliable fullback than Robson.
The Morton management team will be delighted if Robson is on the teamsheet on Saturday.

I don't understand the downer on Robson. He's young - he will have poor games now and again. But he's better than Booth. I hear people say - oh Robson's not good in the air. Then I see him win the majority of headers. And he does attack down the flank ( I know there are some that prefer the ball just to be bladdered to oblivion up the channel). We don't do ourselves any favours with the encouragement of young players at Tannadice - it's little wonder they either leave or shrink in to themselves

Couldn't have put it better myself mate.
I'm afraid Robson is the new Souttar/Fraser/Donaldson.
These 3 guys are now doing quite well and must be so relieved to be away from Tannadice.

Sidenote, GF lower west after about 75 mins v Ayr.
'Neilson, get this phukn sorted!' For this fan the honeymoon ended on Friday.

Robson is nowhere near as talented as Souttar or Fraser, fans get on the backs of players no doubt about that . Stuart Armstrong took plenty of stick from the GF Lower. Its all about opinions but for me Robson still makes the same errors he did when he broke into the team 3 years ago. He needs to bulk up if he is going to be a player at this level.

United players in today. Their day off.

Also read that they’ve been told if they don’t get a positive result, the Xmas trip / night out is off.

Is it just me that doesn't really rate Stanton?

He's a good player but he's a bit light. If he had an absolute bruiser sitting deep in midfield he can get forward and create, we don't really have that.

I don't get to many games these days but when I have seen Stanton I've always thought he was a bit light - same issue re Keatings.  Lacking in dig.  On that note, do you think Rabitsch would have shored us up a bit more v Ayr?  That's his role - would he have been more effective than a not fully fit Fyvie or light Stanton?

For me Stanton is at his best when he's driving at defences from 25/35 yards out. Don't think we're set up to get that best out of him and it's a puzzle that Neilson needs to solve

I would normally applaud this type of thing but after seeing the reaction Mixu got with his hardline ways I'm beginning to think the modern player will just take the huff and turn in even worse displays. Can't be easy being a manger these days with the current Insta-pop star players.
