Sieb, don't know if you have seen the couple of video links to YouTube that I put up on the start of this Q&A, one was some interviews from your time at United and the other was a complication of you in action for us, best saves etc.
My question is this, what was your best save at Dundee United, and the other question is how did you end up getting interviewed while milking a cow on Dutch TV!

Jim mac Lean was chairman at the time and he let Tommy do his work. I had no bother at all with Jim

Sieb were any of the players (and management) at United really aware of how bad Andy McLaren's drinking problem was at the time you played for us?
Did you really have a punch up with Andy on the team bus?

But one of the best saves that i remember was the one against Dunfermline away(1-3 win) and the header from Gordon Petric from 6 yards out in the top corner

Did Tommy McLean get his team selection wrong for the League Cup Final? As well as Celtic played in the final we looked beaten before the game even started that day.

Hard to compare both sides as the game has changed through the years

Who was the biggest influence on your career Sieb?

I don't think Tommy picked the wrong team but i think it was more the occassion the players were not used to. Beside that we gave Celtic far to much respect

Has to be Tommy

It was in Andy McLaren's book Sid. Two sides to every story though ;-)

You dominated your area right to the 18 yard line and cleared out any trespassing forwards that may venture there (and some defenders), but you always seemed to come out unharmed. Were you ever hiding the pain and what was your worst injury?

Siebby, what kind of music do you like ?
Just curious lol.

Sieb as a proud Dutchman how do you feel about the best young Dutch players moving abroad to clubs in England, Spain, Germany etc? Will another Dutch team ever win the Champions League again?

Hi Sieb, is it true you were the longest in the showers at Tannadice? If not, who was big man?

Sieb what was Miodrag Krivocapic like to play behind at Motherwell? He was a bit of a hero of mine as a young Utd fan.

Sieb, you joined around the same time as Erik, Lars and Kjell, a lot of the United fans always remember that great spine of the team with you in goal, Erik in defence, Lars in midfield and Kjell up front. Were you all friends off the pitch and was Erik as intense off the field as he was on it.
