Seen this elsewhere.
A mock-up of a new away strip based on our famous 'Jackson Pollock' paint splattered number from '93/94.
Pretty decent effort.

I’ve no bought a football top in years, but I’d buy that in a minute. As, I suspect, would a lot of people. Someone should forward that to Paul Reid, about time we got something that isn’t out of Nike’s catalogue, worn by hundreds of Sunday league teams around Britain. Pretty sure the last thing we got that was custom-made for us had Shitey broon sleeves.
This would sell out in an instant.

We were promised a bespoke Nike strip this season.
I.e. something not out of the catalogue. But as far as i can tell only the DUFC sewed on to the socks was anything deviating from the usual off the shelf number.
I think we are due an original effort from Nike or Just Sports or whoever it is.
And yes, you are correct JD. That strip would sell really well.

Last years tangerine and brown home kit was our bespoke kit. No, I'm not joking either. Bespoke doesn't mean not out the catalogue, just that other clubs can't wear it that season out the catalogue.
We opted for the wee orange and black stripes that made it look brown. A last joke by the bald snake before he left.

Not that I’m that bothered by strips or that (Unless they have shite-coloured sleeves), but I wouldn’t mind seeing us drop Nike at the end our deal, and go with one of the smaller brands. Think that way you’d get a bit more originality, and end up with kits like this from time to time. All comes down to who pays the most I suppose.

The brown sleeves effort wasn't unique though mate.
Man City had the exact same design just in shades of blue.

Aye but no other club had an orange (tangerine) one. Which made it bespoke apparently.
What I was told anyway lads, I don't agree with it one bit but I seen and heard folk discussing it when they had that daft photo shoot on the discovery for the kits release. I'd be delighted to get away from Nike tbh, their football tops have been poor for years.

If anyone has a large away strip from 1993/94, I will pay top dolla

It's the 30th anniversary of The Stone Roses debut next year so it would be quite fitting to release that strip too. Release it with some tie in. Think of the amount of middle aged guys spending a fortune on Adidas re-issues, late 80s/early 90s gear. If that top was released with some kind of Madchester tag line I bet it would sell by the bucket(hat ) load.

I really like that strip, both for the stone roses theme and also happy memories of 1994 cup run. I would defo buy one if that was our away jersey next year

That top would be a cracker and sell by the bucket load (by Utds standards anyway).
Like many others, the 93/94 away top has to be one of my favourite United shirts.
I actually had a set of playing cards that I bought from the club shop when it was in the Keiller Centre which had the paint splatter from the top and the United badge on the back of each card. Not sure what I did with it though.

25th anniversary of the cup win top? Jeez I'm getting old.
Still the longest 45 minutes of my life....

Strip looks fantastic. Almost better than the original.
Would be great to tie in with Stone Roses. I imagine that was inspiration for 93/94 number.
Away strips can afford to be a bit adventurous and we should try to go for something different a bit more
The pink for breast cancer strip was good and that let club shop have something that can sell well with the young female supporters
