Lose this and McLeish may as well not turn up at Hampden a week tomorrow against Israel.

I see Scott Bain has been called up. How many appearances has he made this season for Celtic?

Did you see a 'confused' McLeish giving his thoughts about Tom Cairney last week? Somehow, he convinced the media that the player wasn't getting match time with Fulham, even the BBC reporting yesterday "Tom Cairney not selected as he returns from a lay-off " Yet Cairney has been involved in the last four Fulham matches.
McLeish stated that he had come on as a subbie against Huddesfield in the second half last Monday, but the lad had played from the start.
I'm just giving this as an example, both of McLeish's unsuitability for the position, and the compliant media who gives him, and the idiots at the SFA, an easy ride.
He came out with similar shite after the Israel defeat, stating he was about to bring McKenna on for Souttar when the ordering off took place, conveniently 'forgetting' McKenna was brought on 16 minutes before Souttar's red card.
He only got the job due to the 'old pals act', his record was poor previously, and his loyalty to Scotland abysmal.

I like the youthfullness of our side tonight.
That said i think the ref has treated them harshly.

Good result, albeit it gives McLeish more credit than he deserves.
I don't like him, and the team which played wouldn't have been the team he would have picked out of his original selection.
Great opening goal by Fraser, it has to be said.
