Score predictions for tomorrow?
We won't keep a clean sheet.
But we will win.
3-2 Utd (Stanton, Šafranko, King)
Offline
I think our defence is still very shaky, and am puzzled that many/most/some other fans don't agree.
Bouhenna mostly looks a good acquisition, but he had one terrible bit of judgement last week which should have led to a Pars goal, losing his bearings and the position of the forward. Lucky that the striker wasn't deadly. Maybe he's still getting used to the Scottish game, or at least getting match fit, which excuse could be made for Booth. Still not convinced there either.
For a big athletic looking lad, Frans appears a bit slow, and Murdoch is out of position still, filling in for the failings of past managers to locate a right back.
So I think we'll not get a clean sheet again tomorrow, and will go for 2-1. Hopefully ICT can win the Cold Firm match, and Ayr lose out at Grangemouth.

Nobody loses at Grangemouth

4-2 United. Think our chances of a good clear win are around the same as a blip though. Need to back the team in a good style fae the stands.
Safranko is due to take more chances and have more luck. Someone who's not scored yet is about due.

Suggest attack may be the best form of defence Pat. Lets have an all out go and put their defence and keeper under constant pressure and let them worry about Safranko and Co. instead of our sub standard lot doing their usual posing and playing Russian Roulette across the back and giving Dobie an easy afternoon. We have the guys to do them damage if we put our minds to it

The revival continues. Brilliant first half, second was solid enough as well, though we were threatening to let them back in at times. Need to start taking our chances when we’re on top though, easy to see why Neilson wanted a forward-thinking coach like Crawford in.
Bouhenna’s a real player btw, definitely our best centre half since at least Fojut. Edge was very good today as well.

Excellent result today. A well deserved win on the back of an excellent performance. When were we last playing like this? Certainly not under Slabber.
Perfect cross in by Aird for the General to finish.
What a great run by McMullan, and nice touch by him for the 2nd. Queens defender couldna take a chance on bringing him down coz he was already on a Yellow. Did the ba come off his chest when it went in, no that it matters coz McMullen was charging after it towards the goal.
We were all over them 1st half, the last 10 mins Queens could hardly get the ball clear oe their box.
2nd half, they came into it a bit more, but Joabbie hardly touched the ball. Can only guess the boys were told to keep the ball away from him, and they did that well.
Only small moan I've got was that a number of occasions, we seemed to turn the direction of play by backpassing, when naebody roond me could see a reason why? Fyvie did this rather a lot, but he wasna the only ain.
MOTM for me McMullan.

Very close.
Well i thoroughly enjoyed that today. I felt we should have went in at half ahead by more we totally dominated the half.
The 2nd half we seemed to fade midway through it but then took control again.
I thought Paul McMullen was outstanding today and was my motm. Stanton bohenna safranko all class also.
Very happy watching that today. Cant wait for Dingwall next week.

1st half was like, it's ma baw in your no allowed it. McMullen is all over the pitch.
That gadget that made Flood look hunchback said McMullen covered mair ground last game than any player.
Safranko looks ready to have the ball no matter where the ball is on the pitch.
Fyvie will be injured again soon if refs continue to let teams tackle us like whats the norm. Worried we will loose key players again.
Biggest win v QoTS ever based on timing, RN's 1st home win, building momentum when it matters and gaining points on those above.
Really appreciate the display squads support and efforts. We need that right now and against any opposition. There was a time that was for big matches or against big rivals. Every match this season is a big match now being stuck doon, behind league leaders and bringing the team and support out of a multi influenced fkn depression.
Time to rally and be United as FUCK!

Its hard to believe that its only a month since the 5-1 hammering by RC.
Its been some transformation in that time.
Hopefully Frans & Booth fit for next week.
Victory next week is a possibility who would have said that after the last RC game.

Back to back clean sheets is very pleasing. Particulary as we had to make a very late alteration to our line-up today.
Credit to the players and Neilson for the very quick improvement in performance and results.
Btw that cross by Aird for Safranko's goal today was exceptional. Damn good finish too.

The first 25 minutes were the best of the season. It was disappointing we didn't score a second then because I think we'd have rattled in about 5-6 if we had.
Wee word on Callum Booth, written off by many but was excellent today. Hopefully nothing serious on the injury frint.

Two clean sheets in a row, really surprised at that. And as stated above by lifesanocean, Booth had a very good game which surprised me too.
After Safranko was booked he lost a bit of his effectiveness. And does anyone else think we have too many creative players on the park, rather than maybe putting another player up top?

Every player looks better so far.
Defence has been prioritised and helped by other positions chasing down and tracking back.
Midfield helped mainly by Fyvie and Stanton returning and the less predictable play with interchangable position switching 3.
Thought we were still risk overse in attack but that's understandable as RN steadies, confidence grows and the manager might tweak that after fixing what he sees as 1st, 2nd, 3rd type fixes needed most.
Safranko is always ready and as soon as his feeders hit form and confidence I rekon we might see a better feed to the front. I'll be interested to see how a fit Clarke helps us too.
Gelling/getting to ken eachother has been a shitey phrase that hasn't been talked of much under RN and rightly so as we'd had enough of that without results but still a factor.

The cross reminded me of the Paul Dixon cross to Russell at Ibrox.....I don't think a cross will ever beat that though

One negative yesterday was us getting the incompetent idiot that is Craig Thomson,he has spent the last 15 years trying to ruin games off football. Demoted to a 2nd tier match in his last season says it all. Good riddance to one of the worst referees ive ever seen
.
