Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

Fuck sake, typical. 1-0 Well.

Anyone notice that it came from their keeper picking up a passback?

At exactly 50 mins, United offside and ref says play on, defender passes it back to the keeper and he picks it up then launches it up!

Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

58 mins: Ciftci and GMS on for Connolly and Spittal.

Looked like Ciftci felt his hammy go in the warm up to me.

Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

Can't believe we lost that, and it's results like this and Killie that will ensure we finish 20 points behind Celtic.

We should have been two up minimum at half time. Motherwell were much better in the second half but we still had plenty of  chances, our final ball was shocking and Townsend fluffed three great opportunities.

Our substitutions were baffling for me, honestly, mental stuff.

I thought Connolly and Erskine were brilliant, Souttar, Paton and Fojut great too in first half.

Ciftci, GMS and Armstrong all poor for me.

Pish.

Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

I really hope Celtic hurry up and go top of the league and get Utd's players back into their comfort zone because we obviously can't handle the notion of being top.

Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

Played well in the first half.Unlucky not to be ahead comfortably (though the keeper only had 2 real saves to make).

2nd half FAAAR to obvious imo.Infact we were pish tbh.

Taking aff our best player by a mile after 50 minutes.Good yin Jackie.

Armstrong should not be getting a start.Hasn't kicked a fucking ball all season.GMS also going through the motions.

We need a forward.Said it since August to the point i sound like a broken record.

Typical Utd bottling it when we can build momentum tbh.

Still lacking a real leader.

Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

And if GMS and Armstrong really don't want to be here or get their fingers out they can fuck off in January.

I'm still not entirely convinced by Dow tbh..

Connolly looks an unbelievable prospect though.I like Spittal too,i think he'll come good in time.

Agree about Rankin btw.him and Armstrong were wasted shirts tonight and when the game turned into a midfield battle and 'Well smelt blood they were posted missing imo.

I thought Townsend did well btw.

Should have buried his first headed chance right enough. But kudos to him for getting in attacking positions.

Re: Motherwell V Dundee United - Friday 7th November 7.45pm

We were the better team by a mile tonight but didn't win, like a good few opposition teams this season.

Laws of probability kicking in, but I'm a lot less pissed off tonight than I was after Killie.

Thought we played well enough but lacked the killer instinct.

But last 3 games our play of the ball has improved loads and no gonna get downhearted about tonight,

Looked the part tonight and gave us more attacking options than we have had for weeks.

Better option than Dillo at LB, due to offensive capabilities well demonstrated when he could've notched a couple.

But is Pates any better at RB than Dillo?

Paton strolled through the 1st half and played some great passes.

2nd half he got roasted aff Ojaama more than once. But the midfield did nothing to support him.

I'm not sure who i would play at RB tbh bugs.i find all our RB options much of a muchness.
