Sam Wardrop

I had heard all good about this lad when we signed him on a 2 year deal in the summer and what a let down he has been.

I imagine he is one we will be hoping to unload at the earliest opportunity if someone will take him.

Re: Sam Wardrop

I might have appeared to be slagging Murdoch and Booth in a previous post, but they have qualities. Some players don't suit certain clubs or managers.

Wardrop might be in that category, but RN, having played RB, might be able to change the lad's predicament.

Re: Sam Wardrop

Yeah if anyone can help him it's surely RN having played that position for years.

Re: Sam Wardrop

I thought he looked promising in the betfred games, a bit raw but plenty of energy and looking to get stuck in.
maybe there is something else going on

Re: Sam Wardrop

Still think (and hope) the kid might come good.

If anyone can help him develop then a former Right back of some repute surely can.

Agree.  Just a young lad so hopefully with the right coaching and getting the right level of fitness he can get involved.  Surely he cannot be as bad as Murdoch at right back?

Re: Sam Wardrop

Seems very early to write him off. Let's not forget he's only really had Csaba as a boss while he's been here.
