Awfy hard to bring replacements into that team, but I think at least four of that team aren't up to the task of getting us up. Maybe prefer Watson to Murdoch on the right, and Robson to Booth on the left of defence.

But I hope we can steer clear of injuries, for overall the squad, to me, isn't good enough.

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

I think when clark is fully fit we will see him come in for king and go 2 up top with mcmullen and aird out wide?
Maybe too early for that on saturday.
Agree with your other 2 but i think he may keep as it is till a fuck up to try and get consistency.

Personally im pretty staggered that Robson is appearing in line ups.
Booth is no world beater but is a clear upgrade on Robson
One person who will be hoping that Robson will play will be Alan Johnston.
Teams have targetted Robson for the last 2years. He just does not have the strength to play at the back.
Maybe he should try and reinvent himself as an attacking wide midfielder

Disagree he’s a upgrade tbh, booth has been poor af imo the last 2 games, only thing that would maybe make me play booth over robson is he’s taller

Agree Booth has been pretty poor since he came into the side and is definately not the long term solution
but Robson is absolutely murder. He is exactly the way he was when he made his debut. Always gets outmuscled by wingers dives into tackles he is never going to win and is weak in the air and he is unable to stop crosses.
As i said before opposition managers will be dissapointed if he is not playing

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

True tbf Dunfermline always seem to punt ball to there right winger etc when we play them so booth will play, both full back position are a must in jan cause we r absolutely honking in them positions, ralston back from Celtic would be excellent

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

Ralston back would be amazing.

I think for Saturday Watson in for Murdoch. A big back 4 then and help with set pieces.

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

Could we play Watson and Murdoch at FB, neither natural FB's but both to me seem to be better than either Robson/Booth, Clark when fit for King would be the other change I'd make

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

Murdoch at left back gives me fear.

Mcmullan really needs to up his game with his end product cause rn its fucking embarrassing, the boy literally canna shoot or cross a ball, would be some player if he could do either

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

Aye Murdoch is bad enough at right back, feck putting him on the left!  Same team as Saturday with Watson back in if he is fit.

Booth underlines Csaba's ineffectiveness in that interview.

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

The United match text updates are not showing up for me but in the group updates of all the games, Allan Preston is quoted as saying "Dundee United have been magnificent." Whatchyou talking about Willis--erm I mean Annan.

Missed pen from McMullan

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

That was a vital win considering both County and Ayr also won.

And we kept a clean sheet!!!!!

Still shite at pens though unfortunately but a good win nonetheless and it's not too often Utd take a good crowd somewhere and actually deservedly win.

That's twice now we've done it under Neilson in just 3 games.

Upto 3rd now after leapfrogging Inverness.

Now to try and sort-out that home form and catch Ayr.

Lovely win away from home. Against a team who got the better of us earlier this season too.

Re: Dunfermline v Dundee Utd 27/10/18

Maybe, just maybe starting to see a bit of light ahead.  Long way to go and really need to avoid key injuries but it’s definitely looking better.
