Reckons Neilson is the man for us, talk highly of his match preparation, attention to detail, and most of all, man-management.

That last part is key for me. It’s all fine and well being angry at the players and wanting them to get a boot up the arse and be told a few home truths, but the reality is, this approach rarely works in the modern age.

There’s still a long way to go, and I do believe we do have the best players individually in the league, it’s just gonna be a case of finding the right man with the right skill set to put those pieces together, we’ve more chance of doing that with a real leader that can get the players organised and believing in themselves than with a hard taskmaster that the players will most likely end up rallying against.

Good to see the wee man still looks out for us, one of my favourite ever players in Tangerine.
