I thought both teams were over the course of the game very poor.

Loembas shot that was headered off the line was it over?

They had a couple of great chances that they blew.

The victory keeps Laszlo in a job for another week atleast, Huge thing being with the victory today is that we are very close to the top of the pile for when we blow it and he is sacked. Which with Ross County at home and then away to Ayr Utd and then Thistle our next 3 games I will be very surprised if come the end of those 3 he is still our manager.

Taking the Csaba sacking factor oot this is result I'm fkn delighted with. Need maist to keep drawing if we are to have a decent chance of winning this league unless we improve.

Did anyone else catch the caper at the end of the Azone commentary when the mic was still on?

We have some decent players, and a couple caught the eye for me. Bouhenna was impressive in midfield , Safranko knows the game, Loemba would be great in a five a side game.

Falkirk, though, were dreadful, and a decent team would probably have taken a few off us with that set up today.

Wasn't there Pat, what was the set up today?

I'd say 4-5-1, although Curran doesn't seem to hold a position.

Rakovan

Aird
Watson
Frans
Robson

McMullan
Curran ?
Rabbitsch
Bouhenna
Loemba

Safranko

Re: Falkirk v dundee utd 22 sep

Their post match interviews are up on their Youtube channel.

Centre half saying it was a 'dull' game to be involved in, ie he didn't have much to do. Said our only chances came from their poor defending rather than us carving them open.

May well be a biased view but certainly didn't sound like we were creating much.

I'll take a scrappy win every week. But you won't win scrappy every week.

Re: Falkirk v dundee utd 22 sep

By all accounts we were terrible again, but good to get 3 points.  What we need now is a run of victories to stamp some authority on the league.

No, I gave up again, couldn't hear the boy commentating, and it was on, it was off, and got fed up refreshing, obviously not their fault, seemingly signal kept on dropping out, if that's the case does that mean there will be no commentary on the highlights because it was off when we scored the first goal? I'm not au fait on tech matters so could be wrong about that, but yet another comedic episode in the "amateur hour" which is known as arabzone.

Would be interested in the conversation you heard, pray tell.

I don't know a lot, but I know what I like!

Yes so am I. As I say it keeps us in the mix at the right end of the league.

Nope as used falkirk TV to watch it. What happened?

Didn't think of that... but I'd have loved to have had this video option. Can we please start a thread every week with live video options? Gutted I've not done that

We can just add availability to the match thread each week. Its a good option for those of you who live overseas and like myself that work away for a couple of weeks at a time.

Re: Falkirk v dundee utd 22 sep

Thought we were really poor again at times - neat and tidy in possession without really going anywhere for large spells.  The Algerian boy was good and thought Robson played well.  Not sure about Aird at right back.

Re: Falkirk v dundee utd 22 sep

I had us better than that SA. For a surprise formation we did ok. Who would have had Aird at RB & Bou at central mid? I did detect a glimmer of corner-turning, could be a defining game in the fullness of the season. Fine margins tho...Loemba's trickery and thunderous shot at the near post headed off the line at 1-0, 75 mins went straight to the other end a ball from their left could have just as easily gone inside the post as outside. Their best chance of the game, would have been 1-1 and cue the boos.... But Curran nods in 10 mins later resulting in a great reaction from the players with the fans at the end, Loemba & McMullan needing new shirts for the Coonty game & fev meenits of heh fevs.
