So the Arbroath game had a wee discount for advance bookings...
The Alloa game doesn't ?? The St Johnstone Colts game is a bit cheaper. It's all over the place ! Also, bearing in mind Shabba has been quite open in branding these games warm ups - why are paying anything more than we would for a friendly?

The alloa game is also now effectively a dead rubber. What is the lowest crowd for a game at home?
maybe one of the fizzy ginger games? this could be a new low.

While I agree the pricing of home games is erratic, the Alloa match means a lot to Alloa: they could potentially finish up with 12 points in the section.

Do you mean that the crowd size might still be decent or that the price is reflective of Alloa's demand for tickets irrespective of what's fair to home fans?

Assuming you are asking me, I'd say neither. No great reasoning goes into pricing structure at Tannadice, it appears, and Alloa's home match the other night drew an attendance of 302.
My point was to Beardy23, that the match is not a 'dead rubber' for Alloa.

Got a funny feeling the attendance for the Alloa match will be around that of Saturday past.

Pricing is ridic for these games. Tenner and fiver should be the price. I can imagine a few boys swerving it while stood in pub supping a few frothy pots 🍻

Well I'm writing to the Powers that be at that there Tangerine Castle!! I will not be ripped off and I suggest that if you all take the same stance, and send your protest emails/letters/tweets in a mass rebellion of fan power.....then they'll probably just ignore us and carry on regardless

Thats exactly what they will do.
They dont give a fuck. They will sometimes pretend by saying the take things on board however they dont change them.

Why do you say it's effectively a dead rubber?
It's not, for either team.
7 points might qualify as one of the four better runners-up.
Then again might not be but it is worth playing for.
And as others are pointing out it's also alive for Alloa.

I don't know if the pricing is totally done by United. Think that Alloa has a say in it. The attendance for the last home game v Arbroath was 2,900 or thereabouts.

not a hope in hell 7 pts gets out of the group, you need 9 or 10.
but yes, unfair to alloa. maybe it is time we stopped disrespecting clubs at this level.

Bang on beardy this is now the level we are at whether we like it or not. Alloa are our rivals now. Beating them tomorrow is important to set down a marker fot the 4 league games.

I know I should wash my mouth out with carbolic soap but.... it would actually be cheaper for me and the kids to go watch Dundee vs Dunfermline on Sunday. Mind you - I haven't had my inoculations.....

Pricing has to be agreed between the clubs - Alloa maybe thought a bigger crowd with a few extra quid per head makes sense and a good cash boost for them?

I actually got a reply from Utd and whilst the chap didn't want to slate another football club; reading between the lines what he said was where another club doesn't want to do a special/cheaper deal then the price has to revert to the league's standard price. Fair play to them for getting in touch though. If in the event the club wanted to do a special deal with season ticket holders, for example £5 off then the other club can demand compensation for the amount they would've missed out on!
