Will Keatings and/or Curran be back for this?

Am guessing/hoping Keatings is being brought back graduallly.
No idea why no Curran.
If he plays Clark up on his own again he should be punted on the spot.

Clark on his own is a no go agreed.
If those 2 aren’t available then play Marty Smith up there with him or even better get the extra striker in that we need tomorrow.

I wasn't at the game today due to being on holiday but reading the comments of people and speaking to friends at the game they all said Declan Glass was our best player and in fact was our only pass mark. And yet he played as a number 10 which everyone on here says (and on Twitter) say they want to see done away with so we can play 4-4-2. So, should the laddie who was by general consensus our best player today (he was also good against Brechin and scored a peach against Cowdenbeath) be dropped to accomodate a change in formation?
If we are going to play 4-4-2 from now on as most punters want, should we simply let this laddie go since he's a number 10 who probably needs to play in behind a lone striker to get the best out of him?

He played midfield in front of Stanton and Rabitsch, but he wasn’t playing up off the lone striker, he was far deeper than that. It was definitely a 451 rather than 4411.
He was our best player today by a mile. I’d quite happily take Rabitsch out play Glass in a 442 beside Stanton, he showed enough to suggest he could put the dig in required in there and get up and down.

That's different if that's the case. Its worrying that the slow tempo, cautious style hasn't changed despite a big overhaul in personnel. I'm afraid the manager has to carry the can. MM was asked at the SLG if the style would change to something faster and a bit more direct as part of the 'Utd Way' since the boring, ponderous style of the last two managers wasn't suited to this league. MM said it would change and agreed about the style. Suggests CL, like most other managers these days is a stubborn cunt.

The thing is who the fuck is Mike Martin to decide on the style of play.
If he wants Csaba as manager then that is Csaba’s decision and his alone.
It surprises me folk think it’s ok for the chairman to dictate what the style of play should be.
What the chairman needs to do is go and get a manager who likes playing the style he wants, can sign good players suited to that style and coach and mange them to get the best out of them. Not try and tell a sitting manager what style he has to play.
Any good manager will play a style that gets the best out of his best players and the team as a whole. Csaba is an idiot who frankly just puts boys on the park and doesn’t really know what to do with them.

Having employed 4 numpties in a row whose style of play has taken and kept us down, it’s time for the club/chairmen to have a say in the style we play having due regard to the customers who will be paying the wages. If The Jackie/Mixus/Rays and Csaba’s don’t fancy our gig they are free to look elsewhere. There must be managers out there who like being positive, like being competitive, like trying to get the best out of their players and that’s who we should be appointing. Our players may well be rubbish but someone like Hopkins or Wright would have got/kept them up
Funnily enough I think Csaba was trying to be positive with the formation (just one defensive mid).....just didn't work very well

Not wishing to be pedantic but being positive involves a bit more than only playing 1 def mid. My def is 30+ attacking opportunities per game, probably even more against a team like Arbroath or batteries by the defence from the 1st minute until we are at least 5 or 6 up

Glass might benefit from Curran playing ahead of him I think.

I've decided that i'm not gonna be going to many away games this Season, so this ones out for me. If it's anything like Saturday's performance, we'll be coming home empty-handed. Think the Five Guys formerly of Tannadice will have the upper-hand.
Cant believe I'm saying this after 52 years supporting the Club, but there you have it.
