Was really impressed with glass at Brechin, hopefully see at least a few decent youngsters progress this year

3-0 McMullan scores in the 20th minute.

United media team didn’t notice.

Nope, they were tweeting score all night, then tweeted way after the game finished that they missed the 1st goal.

It’s the level of professionalism I’ve come to expect.

What amazes me is these incidents never seems to be treated as problems, they seem to think "0h what a laugh" and we can get away with murder as we're all United fans so everyone will understand (I'll treat them to another crackin' slogan or a super-duper gif/meme, and they'll be blinded by my brilliance) , they can't see how unprofessional and shit they are, it's just one embarrassment after another.

An absolute joke.

I can accept the odd mistake, we all make them.  Like u say it’s the attitude and the “working our end” mentality that pisses me off.

The clubs standards should be better, but that said there are far bigger issues need fixed first.

In the words of Ian Brown--"Amateurs, amateurs!!"
Have these guys been trained in the media or just boys that were half decent with a computer and fans.? Been hopeless for near 15 years now.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Can't believe anyone gives a fuck about this to be honest. It's a closed doors pre-season friendly. The fact they were giving updates on Twitter at all is an improvement on last season.

I think people are just dismayed at that arrogant phucker Rice and how he’s managed to survive “the root and branch review”.

Social media’s a massive part of any modern business, particularly in the entertainment industry, and ours is so far behind the times it’s embarrassing. Must be about the only club in the world that charges a fiver a month for a bog standard, vanilla as it gets, subscription service, while everyone else just puts their highlights up on their YouTube page.

I give a fuck, arabzone is symptomatic of the "laissez-faire" attitude that has been allowed to permeate out of Tannadice for far too long.

I have a season ticket, but for reasons outwith my control can't attend every game, whether it be work, or family related sometimes I can't be their physically, but would like the safety net of the option to listen/view the match without refreshing, and missing patches of the game, then being told "It's working our end." I also feel they have this attitude of "if we ignore them, eventually they'll give up" when you do complain.

Yes, I totally agree there is much bigger issues to be fixed, but as a paying customer should I not have the right to complain/moan? I know it's only £4:99 a month but that for me isn't the issue, I wouldn't mind if it was more, if it was more professional.

I thought the root and branch would be just that, a review from top to bottom, so far this season looks like the same old shite service.

FAO Swing kinker, if you want to trawl through my posts, you'll be hard pressed to find a post where I have "put the boot in," on anything United, unless of course you are referring to arabzone then "guilty as charged" but I feel, always justified.

Re: Utd v Cowdenbeath - BEHIND CLOSED DOORS

It’s about standards.

If folk are happy to accept crap, then crap is what they’ll get

It’s that way right through the club and it appears a lot of you are quite happy to accept it.

Keep accepting it, you’ll keep getting it.

If that's the condescending tone you're going with then do something about it. ....I mean. Something other than moaning on a forum. Do something yourself, pitch to the club, do what the current bunch did and set something up. If you're so much better than the fans that are "accepting it"give them something better.

It’s not condescending,  it’s a fact in any business that if you allow standards to slip a little, they will continue to slip further, customers either accept it or walk away.  A lot of DUFC’s customers have walked away.

I was under the impression it was Derek Robertsons  (RIP) idea, you seem to know quite a bit about it , and yes if you have, or anyone else has Mike Martins personal e- mail address I would be most grateful
