No longers u20's coach 😎.
Now scout for covering scotland.
It's all happening.
Feeling quite encouraged.
Even the playing surface is getting attention.

Token appointment so that they don't have to pay him off.
Though it does annoy me the way he seemingly has a job for life at Utd. Everyone should be made to prove themselves in their role.
So after say a year he should be sat down and a performance review should be carried out.
Looking at how many of his recommendations actually were signed or deemed good enough after a trial.
The days of a free ride at Tannadice need to end if we are to get back to where we should be.

what does he have to offer as a scout?
If he wasn't up to the required standard in his position he should have been punted not thrown into another role within tannadice.

I think MM is concentrating on creating a positive vibe throughout the club and is succeeding in my eyes, a lot of changes have happened and a lot more are in the pipe line, perhaps old pics of a club legend leaving carrying bin bags are still fresh in MM's mind and booting out a guy like Bow who gave sterling service to the club as a player (regardless of his coaching record) would be an unnecessary negative at this time.

Hi first post.
Couldn't agree more . That to me was a low point for United when Malpas walked out with the blackbags. I know one of United's major sponsors were possibly walking away if Bowman had been punted as they are good mates with him. Although it's quite debatable what Bow has achieved as coach we should remember how loyal he's been to United over the years.
I'm beginning to feel quite positive for next season.

Genuine question, whatever happened to the engineering sponsor we had?

What offers has Bowman turned down to stay with United?
As for sponsors dictating who we employ, if that’s really happening then what does that say about our chairman.

We don't know if Bowman has turned down offers to stay with United .
As for sponsors dictating what happens at the club. I am pretty sure this particular sponsor had no influence on what the chairman decided to do with Bowman.

You don’t know if he’s had offers, but praise his loyalty. It’s not loyalty it’s getting paid to do a job.

If you have an employee who is not performing and I think we can all agree that the devolpementbside of things took a massive nose dive in the past few seasons and you continue to reward or continue then it undermines your entire business.
This is absolutely no different from any of us in our place of work, if you don't perform then your oot the door.
I appreciate he's a loyal employee but that then in turn does not guarantee anyone a job for life.
