Re: Supposed takeover

I think it's because the majority of of your regular posters are themselves suspicious Tek.
Just read the reactions to Jamie Robson's two-year deal.
Mass hysteria. With a few timely exceptions thankfully.
But I hope he doesn't look on here.

Genuinely curious as to why the suspicion of the new poster? 🤔

A new poster appears with his first post being information he's 'heard' which is rather detailed, and contradicts almost all the other gossip regarding a prospective takeover.

But his detail also contradicts himself, eg, it's only one person involved in the takeover, but it's also a business: cannae be both. It's an American who is taking over, but he's leaving Martin and Thompson in charge?

The poster has been reading about United on this forum 'for a while' but suggests the fan groups come together for a buy-out: he should know there isn't a lot of unity between the fan groups, and this would be impossible.

I could go on, but UniDundee is either at the wind-up, thick, or a Dee, and the three aren't mutually exclusive.

Re: Supposed takeover

I don’t think our “signings” so far give much of a vote of confidence in Csaba.

Fyvie – most would agree he’s worth a contract and the club are looking after him as he was injured in action
Deniz – maybe not a shoe-in No.1 but again the club are doing the right thing after injury
Robson – young player who could earn the club a fee in future, as unlikely as that seems now

I’m still hopeful that regime change will see a change in manager.

He doesn't say it's a business though. He says it's a business associate of the Dundee owner/s.

If he's wrong it will be disproved very quickly.

But as things stand his rumour has as much credence as any other i.e. nothings happened/happening.

Re: Supposed takeover

It is only what I've heard lads and I'm not one of them. Some of the stuff I read on here from posters that have 300 posts give me the shiver. I have just the same right as you.
Anyway, as I say its only what I've heard, we all just need to wait and see. Fans group should come together and try a buyout. Look at hearts and motherwell? There fans owned. It can work.

Sorry if I appeared cynical, but an individual posting controversial content that they claim to have 'heard' is worthless without you revealing who told you.
