Would you play Paton on Wednesday in light of his arrest today?

I would btw.

I would if his head was right, and Jackie can assess that better than us.

Good lad.

Wish i was,but cannae afford it this week.

Opportunity missed to win the League Cup last season when we took the bait up in Inverness.

Here's hoping the real Dundee United turn up at long last on Wednesday.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

I'm at fecking work late tomorrow night.  Stupid open evening.  Nae danger she's gonna be keen on me going to the game the following night as well.  Added to having nae money and using up my begging quota for this month its a no...
Actually, ken what the real reason is?  Watching us is like watching paint dry at the moment and I can't be arsed.  Bad supporter but so fuck.  Its a protest vote.  If Shifty, Armstrong Dow, GMS et al can go missing for 3 months, then I am going missing from games for a few weeks.

Too much commotion

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Predictions for tomorrow chaps?

I think we'll grind out a 1-0 win in a poor spectacle.

Blair Spittal will score.

Crowd will be 7,837.

There will be a cold easterly breeze and sporadic showers throughout the evening.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Around 1600 tickets sold for our end, with people buying tickets at the ground (me and my 9 pal's), I reckon we might sell 2000 which Is basically the bottom tier behind the goal, cracking stuff.

2-1 United please god.

If you're looking for majority away fans, and at the right side of the away stand, I would suggest Middletons.

If you're coming up from The Shore direction I like the Four In Hand, big Hibs bar that runs a bus to away games (or did when I lived there) but a good crowd, never had any hassle there with colours on.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Got our tickets this morning. We've sold 1950 of our 2300 allocation (whole bottom tier), excellent effort.

Re: Hibernian v United - League Cup Quarter Final

Our record in this tournament is pretty poor and I can't see us winning tonight,  we really need a shake up of starting personnel in the front four.
