Please read this everyone and try and help in anyway you can (if you are in a position to do so).
It is about a guy some of you may even know. His name is Greg Burke. He is from Dundee like the vast majority of you on this Forum.
His wife (Tracey) is going through a really really tough time just now. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2015 and has been through a terrible time since going through the rigours of chemo, radiotherapy and brachytherapy to try and battle this terrible disease.
Despite all her own troubles, ordeals and worries this brave woman decided to raise £11,000 on her own behalf to donate to MacMillan Cancer Charity and the Maggie's Centre in Dundee as a 'thank you' and to help others.
Sadly, all the treatments have been to no avail and the cervical cancer is at an advanced stage.
With all possible treatments off of the NHS been exhausted Greg and Tracey are now trying to raise £70,000 to try and send her to Germany to get the help she so desperately needs at a private clinic that specialises in immunotherapy.
It is unfortunately a very costly venture at £90,000 in total.
Greg and Tracey are just hoping to raise 70 grand of that as they can put 20 grand in themselves.
I know this horrid disease has affected all of us on here.
Please, please help in anyway you can Lads and help get this brave lady to Germany to get the help she desperately requires.
Thank you.

Greg is a good friend of mine and Tracey is 1 of the nicest people you will meet. I really hope they can smash the target.

I know Tracey from work and she is a great girl, always upbeat despite what she's had to go through, really hope they do it.

Just stuck a few quid in, I don't know the couple but really feel for them, please give what you can, if you reverse the roles it could be you, and wouldn't you like a bit of help?

Just donated too. Hope they reach the target. Over 17000 so far. Hope those who do twitter and pussbook can share to boost.

Nearly £18 000 raised in 3 days is some going and nearly 600 efforts have helped achieved this.
Surely we can spread the word to another 1800 willing to donate on average the same an help the lassie?

Seen this on twitter
With all that must be going on in their life at the moment, to stand by your principles, and tell them where to go just shows you what decent people this couple must be.
I've just donated again, if anybody on here can spare a few pounds please donate.

Just want to say thank you Lads for re-acting to this post so kindly with donations and kind words.
Me and Mrs Tek will donate next week when we have money.
So heartening to see people responding with so much kindness to their appeal.

I've made a donation. Lassie's ages we meh dachter. Shame there's no enough funding for the treatment. No trying to introduce politics inta the equation, ken its no goverment funded, think it's Cancer Research, but its a lassies life we're speakin aboot, and ye see the money spent on that wedding yesterday.
Hoping they'll be a wee bit extra for the couple, and they might get a wee holiday efter she's finished her treatment. Heart goes oot to them.

Not on facebook and don't really want to join, is their any way these events can be linked here or on twitter, I'm sure there are people on here who would contribute,on top of previous donations if only they new what was going on.

The bonus balls are all being run via the facebook group.
However there was a sponsored walk in the park (at Baxter park) last night and quite alot of other events up coming.
A full day/night event at the nine maidens at the end of July sold out 350 tickets very quickly.
Will post some events
