No qualms about signing players from any background, but Nicky Clark, if signed, would be an indication of where we've reached in the league system.
As a footnote, Alec Reid, Iain Ferguson, Ian Redford, Wattie Carlyle and Davie Wilson were all ex-Ibrox players who have done well at Tannadoice.Wilson Wood as well Pat. Did he no join us aboot the same time as Davie Wilson?
Wilson Wood and Davy Wilson were part of the swop deal for Orjan Persson - he was decent.
I'll add Ian (SuperMac) McDonald who looked like being a cracking player until he got injured
Wasn't aware of Wattie Carlyles origins

Charlie Telfer scored number 6 as well remember. 😉

I never saw Wattie play, but he was local to me, and I had him on a chewing gum card.
Wilson Wood, right enough Billy. Ian Redford too, but he was in the earlier post, SmedDUm.
Plus Supermac, AA, sad end for him.

Always rated Aird.
Wasn't so long ago he ripped Scotland apart in a friendly playing for Northern Ireland. He was also very good i thought in the 2014 Scottish Cup Final against us. Was Sevco's best player by a long way on that day.
Doesn't score a lot of goals but he is more direct as a winger certainly than King or McMullan.
Nicky Clark i don't know much about having not really seen him play much. But his goalscoring ratio isn't to be sniffed at.
Hope we have identified some BIG strong players too.
As the whole team lacks height and strength and we far too often get out-muscled and outfought by teams like Dumbarton and Livi.

Sorry, you're correct it was Canada he played for against Scotland.
Getting confused as he is actually Northern Irish.

Here's the game in question. I was getting mixed up as i was under the impression he grew up in NI.
Anyway, he was fantastic this night and ran Scotland ragged.

Jeez, you're having a good day Tek. I doubt Fraser Aird has ever been to Northern Ireland, he was born in Canada. And played us in the semi final in 2014.

My Dunfermline rellies offered to drive Aird to Tannadice himself such was his impact for Pars this year. He is gutted at the prospect of losing Clark

The forums say quite the opposite. 90 percent of the opinions I read are that he has had a very good second half of the season once he found his stride. Time will tell if/when we see him play I suppose.

Nicky Clarke, yes please. Fraser Aird, no thank you.

Aird has left Dunfermline and is to undergo a medical at Tannadice and we could be after out of contract Morton captain Thomas O'Ware according to the courier.

Logan Chalmers and Declan Glass both signed deals until 2020.
From (sadly) the little I've seen of LOGAN CHALMERS I think we may have a belter there.
Tipping him for good things.

Like the look of Chalmers, think he should have been given way more chances in the 1st team this season.
