Mark Durnans image on the fishul
I was looking for a couple of decent photos oe a couple oe players in the current squad, so I had a look at the Team page on the Club Website. The images oe the players, have, to one extent or another have part of the players Name (First name, or surname) within the name of the Image File. eg. 12345-WILLO.jpg, 54321-FRASER.jpg etc
1 oe the players images I was efter was Mark Durnan. Found his photo both on the Team page and on his own page, but when you look at the actual image, no part of Mar's name appears within the File Name, but it contains the name VINNIE NEW. Just wonderin WTF that meant, or it was to dae we Mark Durnan. Right-click and Save on the photae and you'll see what I mean.
Oh I ken this is just another Sunday night dafty. Mibbee the nerves are gettin to me.

Was his nickname prior to playing for united.
I believe he wasn't keen on the comparison the vinnie Jones- musta Stuck.

Fair doos Tangy. Gled somedy was able to clear that up. Hae to look at the photaes oe the other players and see what nom de plumes they've got.

Looking at that career history durnan is out of contract at end of season.
More pressing matters re tomorrow night but I think we should definitely sign him up which ever division we are in.
Some supporters have a go at him. Maybe not the most elegant player to watch but he has done a great job for us in last couple of years

No he hasn’t. We’ve shipped goals at an alarming rate in the last few years with him in the team. Our recent run of 5 clean sheets in 6 or 7 games has come without him in the team for all but one of those games, that’s not a coincidence.

Depends which league we are in ( ha ) ( although there is still hope )
I think Durnan and Moshni have the makings of a good partnership and two big central defenders like that could be a great asset. Think we should renew his contract. Two big lads up front when needed also. Think Edge is still here next season also ?

Renewing Durnan’s contract IF we were a premier league club would be absolutely ridiculous. If we’re in the championship and we aim to win it then we need 2 better CH’s, playing every week, than him. If we’re happy to plod along in the championship not challenging for the title then sign him up.

It’s not the lack of elegance that folk worry about. It’s the lack of positional awareness, winning headers, pace, playing the right pass and just general ability.
Great job for us. Wow.

Never in my life have I seen a centre back allow the ball to bounce as many times as Durnan does.
