Agree re contract extensions. I would also tell a few of the contracted players that they are free to find another club. Happy to keep the youngsters + Stanton.

I would think (almost) everyone knows that Csaba is leaving but we're playing a precarious game in an attempt to avoid having to pay his full contract, while the manager makes more outlandish comments than ever in the hope that we will give him the cash up to May 2019, just so he'll fuck off.

It's a dreadful situation, and one which will damage the limited confidence which fans may already have in Mike Martin. 

The players look like they know Csaba is on his way out as well, like many supporters they generally are now going through the motions. One exception is Scott McDonald: I'm wondering if he has an eye on management, but I think in his case he's showing the professionalism that some others sadly lack.

Ballantyne, from the list above, isn't in contract for next season. I think he'll go on and make a decent career for himself, away from Tannadice.

It fkn does but Ballantyne, Allardice,Taylor, Chamlers and Smith are mainly development players of which 2 have a chance of making it. Still leaves 8 though and I'd only keep 3 of them.
