She’s worth more than double the amount her and her ex-husband won on the lottery now. Made a lot of smart investments, and now has a property business in Carnoustie, a lot of houses that go up for sale in the town are snapped up by her.
If this really is true, with her and Jimmy Fyffe, who definitely wants to buy the club, as some sort of dream team, they need to make these bids public, if it comes out that that fucker is turning down offers when we’re in the state he’s got us in, there’ll be merry hell for him.
The reason he’s had it so easy till now, is because there’s no viable alternative, if the fans have someone to rally round, particularly when it’s a diehard Arab and a local woman worth well into 9 figures, both with a business brain, and not just a coffee-stained silver spoon, he’ll be forced out.
An owner worth 100 million and a business smart chairman.
What a dream.
Significantly more than £100m
Initial thoughts are that ST will know she's worth a pretty penny so will hold out for more. Maybe would have been a better approach for her to stay anonymous.
On the other hand, leaking this could be smart move if it puts real pressure on Thompson.

Was about to write something similar. Mind, the stories about bids for the club might not be true, however.

Dinna want to pour cold water on anything but spoke with two boys about Fyffe interest and one said he's a bigger chancer than ST and he was a nightmare to work for and the other said he'd blow all the dosh in the bookies. Just opinions of course.

Despite no bids having been formally made i am told that Bayford buying ST out is still very much a go-er.
Jimmy Fyffe wont be putting up any of the money to buy him out however. Though is Bayford's choice for Chairman.
Everything crossed.

Serious question, TEK.
Is Jimmy Fyffe the guy to lead us forward and out of this mess and if so, why? Or have we found ourselves in another situation where just because his name has been mentioned as a possible replacement, despite what he brings to the table, the fans are all about to get a massive bricker about him in the same way a lot of folk thought Paul Quinn was going to be the solution to all our defensive woes. I think a lot of folk got that BADLY wrong.
The appointment of our next chairperson has got to be right. We don't have a good track record of making the right call when it comes to managers - this gives me the fear when considering the importance of getting the chairperson right. If we drop our knickers at the first name to be linked to the position just because its not Stephen Thomson or one of his bum boys, then there's a very, very good chance that we're not going to get out of the brown sticky stuff for the foreseeable future.

I'll be honest Macho Man i know very little about Jimmy Fyffe.
Others would be better placed to answer that question mate.

The person that’s being quoted as being interested in buying the club is wealthier than the owners of pretty much every other club besides Dermot Desmond and maybe Roy McGregor, that’s not to say she’s gonna come in and bankroll us to the extent of the owners of some other clubs, but she certainly has the means to spark a huge change in fortunes for the club. If, as has been suggested, she wants to install Jimmy Fyffe as chairman, that can only be a good thing for the club, he turned his NCR redundancy into a very lucrative business and bleeds Tangerine as much as any of us.
If there’s any truth in this, I can’t see it being anything other than a massive improvement on our current set of circumstances.
