Is the word on the street.
Both made in the past 24 hours.

First bid was to give Thompson £1 to buy the club and immediately wipe out all the debt (2.1 million).
Turned down.
2nd bid he was offered 500k in 4 quarterly instalmemts of 125k...turned down.
Holding out for 2 million.
Just passing on what i've heard lads.

If true then they are both great deals for him to get out.
Offline
He wants to walk away with £2m in his pocket, after the £2.1 m debt is cleared. So whoever wants it has to cough up £4.1m. For a championship club, with zero assets.
This cunts supposedly a businessman aswell.
Eddie will be spinning in his grave.

Do you know who the bids are from? Is it somebody credible or somebody on par with the marrs?
Offline
The fans groups must surely NOW unite as one and drive him out.
It would seem they now have not 1 but 2 figureheads that they can rally round.
The wheels might be in motion to get this bastard out.

According to the boy who told me it's Euromillions winner Gillian Bayford from Carnoustie who offered to buy the club.
With Jimmy Fyffe from JF Kegs also willing to put in investment.

At least it appears some movement is on the go: in the past I've had direct word in conversations with an employee, and a director of the club, that ST is really keen to get out. I've spoken with ST, he didn't indicate such a desperation, but one thing he made a point of: there were too many fan groups for him to adequately deal with.
Though some caution: although the board, led by ST, have made a dreadful job of their responsibilities, someone else coming in might be even worse. I don't like negativity, but that is realism.
Many clubs have been poorly run, got supposed new blood/ideas/money in, but it has been a false dawn (this true more down south than in Scotland, but there are examples here on different levels such as Hearts with Romanov, Livingston with Massone, Morton with Hugh Scott and East Stirlingshire with Mackin).
However, it would be hard for new folk coming in to make such a rip roaring arse of the club as have the present custodians.

Yep totally agree with this Pat; sensible thoughts.

Jimmy Fyffe is a businessman who earned his money. Very well off now and a die hard fan to boot.
Our current is a businessman that has no business acumen and inherited his money. Claims to be a fan.
Fans don't hold their clubs to ransom.
People say 'better the devil you know?' The devils a good guy compared to this bastard.
I know who I'd rather have in charge.
Thompson out.

If either of these are true, it's ridiculous that ST has knocked them back. He's obviously more desperate for cash than he is to get out.
Get a fucking job Thompson

If this is true, Thompson really is a gready cunt! Should be absolutely buying her hand off we some of them offers

This is very interersting. No matter what it looks like there may finally some movement here.
Just move on soon Mr T, best for you to get out now. We can then all hopefully rally round and rebuild our club.
Here’s hoping.

I could work the rest of my life and not earn 500k.
It's a life changing amount of money.
For someone who had their shares handed to them on a plate it is incredible he feels he's due more.

Alot of fucking money.
The pressure has to be turned up on this bastard.

The lassie Bayford has been doing a lot of splashing of the cash. Putting some to good use and also invested in 11 properties at the new housing development at Maltings in Carnoustie ... amongst others around the area. There’s no doubt that she’s got pots of cash. I’m guessing and hoping there’s a bit more going on regarding other investors and the start of some movement on who’s eventually going to sit in the hotseat. Maybe it's just the start of the bargaining.
Quite simply, this is now the time to put pressure on that snake or we will continue to go backwards. But if this is all true, he will come away with the old story about wanting to leave the club in good hands and he perhaps doesn’t see a lottery winner as the guardian. Fk knows what goes on in his turd for a brain.

She’s worth more than double the amount her and her ex-husband won on the lottery now. Made a lot of smart investments, and now has a property business in Carnoustie, a lot of houses that go up for sale in the town are snapped up by her.
If this really is true, with her and Jimmy Fyffe, who definitely wants to buy the club, as some sort of dream team, they need to make these bids public, if it comes out that that fucker is turning down offers when we’re in the state he’s got us in, there’ll be merry hell for him.
The reason he’s had it so easy till now, is because there’s no viable alternative, if the fans have someone to rally round, particularly when it’s a diehard Arab and a local woman worth well into 9 figures, both with a business brain, and not just a coffee-stained silver spoon, he’ll be forced out.

Would love if they joined forces and she became the owner and Jimmy Fyffe the chairman, need the supporter's clubs to step up now and force the issue. We have someone to rally round now.

Sorry to be the one to write this here, but isn't that an odd question to ask of MockChop?
Why would you ask this?
