Re: "We need Warriors, we need fighters"

Wrong my way round for me. I want to see the players and their performances inspiring the fans. Think between the Falkirk and Dunfermline games we “lost” 800 fans and after Dunfermline we are likely to lose even more. Get rid of the rubbish go nowhere backwards and sideways stuff, do some serious attacking and give the 100% and the fans will come back. Fed up of the stupid gimmicks

Re: "We need Warriors, we need fighters"

Football is an entertainment business. Like Annan stated, if we played attacking football, wingers beating players and putting the ball into the box for our strikers to attack, pop shots from outside the box, pushing high up the park forcing the opposition into making mistakes, hard, solid tackles, fight for the ball, get in the oppositions faces, little bits of skill (GMS Juggle), score goals etc etc That is how you put bums on seats every week, that is how the fans come back, if you give fans something to shout about the fans will sing, create an atmosphere. We don't bust a nut at our jobs to pay through the gates/season tickets to watch backwards and side wards passing, trying to walk the ball in the net.

Re: "We need Warriors, we need fighters"

annanarab, where did we lose 800 fans between the Falkirk and Dunfermline games? According to the home sides we had 1217 (F) and 1421 (DA) at these games, maybe you mean something else?

But I'm agreeing with your sentiment: talk's cheap.

Apologies, fired off without checking facts. I had 2200 in my head for the Falkirk game

A player I would take. Solid, dependable, good tackler, good passer. A bit of a unit is badly lacking in the middle of the park for us.

Re: "We need Warriors, we need fighters"

What keeps the fans happy is winning football. If you cant match your opponents physically your unlikely to win many matches. Sides that play UTD at the moment know they can intimidate and kick us off the park. Ive been waiting decades (levein apart) for a UTD manager to say that, hopefully we can get the players to kick the opposition off the park then play silky football.

Jesus fucking H. Christ.
Boy at my work supports Dunfermline and says they are desperate to get rid of him because he is a fat bastard and is fucking shite.  Said he'd do a good job for someone: as a book end.

Too much commotion
