Apparently after Scott Wright from the sheep too.

Would be pretty happy with this if both come off. Mikkelsen done OK last season, especially considering we had no wingers. Wright would be an upgrade on the wingers we have just now.

Mikkelsen in a different formation might do well, with his fellow countryman Lyng or McDonald up beside him.

For we have little chance of passing our way through teams with Fyvie and Fraser out for the season. And big Tam has a decent, if not stunning, scoring record with most past clubs, including us. Hope he's found boots with studs.

Wright I know little about: he's a winger isn't he?

Scott Wright is a cracking wee player. Saw highlights of him against Partick last season, scored 2, set up another, missed a chance to score his hattrick (although, was a good save from keeper) and drove at the Partick defense constantly. Exactly the type of player we need. As for big Tam, up top with Lyng with wingers and wing backs putting in crosses might lead to more goals. Give our team more height and strength. Hope they come off.

When Mikelson played with us we ended up playing route one at a very poor standard, he dives and gets booked a lot and his goal return wasn't great, from memory.

Scott Wright is a potential match-winner.

Mikkelsen although not a World-beater had a good goals-to-games scoring ratio for us and presumably is fully match fit so could 'hit the ground running'. In short, we could do a lot worse.

If Wright does sign I'd play him on one side, McMullan on the other and try King in behind big Phil. Lots of people on here saying play Stanton in behind the striker but anyone who was at the Falkirk away game would tell you that he is no use there.

It looks as though the penny is starting to drop at Tannadice at least. Still need a midfielder with dig though. I'd throw some dough at Hamilton and try and get the boy McKinnon. I'd also try to get Keith Watson back from St Johnstone.

Saw some speculation about Danny Swanson maybe looking for a move from Hibs. That would be the difference for me. He'd rip this league up.
