    37 years ago today (well technically now 37 years ago and a day).

    ​Just a month after lifting the League Cup we absolutely annihilate Killie. What a side we had.



    ​A year later we of course replicated the same scoreline at Tannadice against the same side (that game is also on this video).

    Great stuff. Kirkwood scoring the fourth in the first game and Milne scoring the fifth in the second game were a bit special.

    The second game was my first ever match at Tannadice, I watched it on Betamax for years to come after that day.

    Looking back at Ralphie, how many caps does James Forrest have?

    Memories. 

    I used to hae a load oh vhs tapes with utd highlights on it. Boy fae perth used to make them Paul Smith. Had a massive back catalogue oh games.

    How lucky was I and folk of my generation to live through the McLean era watching games, performances and results like that at regular intervals and also to see some of European stars humbled by the Nareys, Sturrocks, Milnes, Bannons etc.

    Feeling very humble myself   

    Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version
