Re: St.Mirren V's Dundee Utd - Friday 29th December (7.45pm)

fuck sake... flood there, tells mcmullan to show him wide because hes got the inside, then just fucking lets him inside anyway.  Sits so fucking deep and barely offers the back 4 any protection.  Get him the fuck off. hes fucking not one, never has been.

Absolutely horrendous, never gonna win the league when you’ve got Smith and allardice coming off the bench, MASSIVE January

Re: St.Mirren V's Dundee Utd - Friday 29th December (7.45pm)

Well done the 1300 United fans tonight, excellent support. I wouldve been there except their was no way home to Fife.

As for the players, that was gutless as fuck and I hope Shabba smacks you all In the puss before making you swim Tay Rail to Road bridge 10 times tomorrow at 5 am.

As for Shabba. You need to sign quality In january or we're fucked.

Needs to have a look at himself too. Playing Quinn and Scobbie the other way round would have helped. As would taking Flood off when he was clearly too injured to continue.

Oh, and stipulating a penalty taker who can confidently strike the ball from 12 yards too.

Re: St.Mirren V's Dundee Utd - Friday 29th December (7.45pm)

I thought we were the best team in the first half and as usual we were shot shy again throughout the game.

disappointed with the way we lack determination and show fight throughout the match.Sickening to be honest.

Seen this far too often before - St Johnstone, Falkirk, Morton, Dumbarton and I thought this sort of dross was a thing of the past with saviour Csaba, clearly not. The writing was on the wall in the 1st half - zero attacking but lots of sideways and backwards stuff a la McNamara/McKinnon. Apart from the penalty which was our only shot on target in the whole game, Samson had nothing to save. We needed 42 minutes to get in a cross which McDonald aimed away from goal and the only other 1st half effort was a Fraser shot which was off target. Why come out and play the same drivel in the 2nd half. Why keep the defensive mid guardian on when he could barely walk far less close down the guy who  scored.

I have zero confidence of this team, playing the way they did tonight, getting though the end-of-season play-offs. We desperately need to go up as champions but there's a lot to improve if we are to win the league

Re: St.Mirren V's Dundee Utd - Friday 29th December (7.45pm)

First 10-15 minutes we started brightly and eh thought we were right up fir it.
McMullan was useless ev said it maste oh the season, he’s got pace but that’s ah he’s got, poor poor player.
McDonald is past it and we will bring in a striker in January.
The less said aboot Quinn the better, close the door on your wiy oot.
Fyvies injury will affect Scott Fraser mare than anybody IMO, Fraser was inbehind their midfield countless times first half and Stanton or Flood never seen um.
Well done Tam Scobbie, oot oh position and actually kept Morgan quite through oot open play.

Anybody heard anyhing on the injuries? Flood seemed to hurt his knee? Fraser potentially broke his fut again, if not huv we just seen him play his last gem with January looming? Massive Month fir oor club!!!

Thought we were dominating upto the penalty then when we miss that the players totally changed.

Fucking sick with that.

Re: St.Mirren V's Dundee Utd - Friday 29th December (7.45pm)

That was a sare ane that. Didna think the Midden were a brilliant team. No bad I’ll admit, but until their 1st goal, I actually thought we were the better team. Seriously believed we were good enough to get a at least dra. 2nd half was boufin. It was certainly no a league winning performance that 45 mins, and what a contrast fae the Livi gehm.

Penalty miss was a downer. Could Fraser/Skippy no have tae'n this. Twa gehms and we canna score fae the spot. Laszlo get this sorted.

Shoulda been a Yellow for Magenis for standing on McMullan. Ref doesna even blow for a free-kick. FFS.

Willo shoulda been hooked efter his knock in the box. Couldna get near Morgan for their 1st ane. Thought the 2 goals were similar. Morgan in front of 18 yard line then turns left and puts it thru abody into the same spot, but whar wir the defenders and naebody blocks it. Keeper sees it too late. Laszlo get this sorted.

1 shot on target the hale gehm, and that was fae a saved penalty. We put plenty enough baz back toward wir ain keeper, but only the 1 toward theirs.

Therein lies part of the problem. Far too much backpassing - been goin on far too lang now and it's p1ssin me right off. And when we're busy p1ssin aboot at the back fae defender to keeper to defender to keeper to defender, the opposition are in oor face and half the time they get the ba. Meanwhile when the Midden have the ba at the back, oor forward(s) are nae place near them. Laszlo get this sorted. eg.Skippy does a backpass  fae the half-way line near the end, and Cammy Smith collects the ba and is thru on goal. Didna help that Stanton I think it was slipped on his erse.

And this hoofball fae back to front just isna working esp. fae the keeper. Did we ever get anythin fae it. How many times did the ba go oot for a throw. Laszlo get this sorted.

Ken there's still 50 odd points to the end of the Season but worried aboot Fraser now. Hope he's no cracked his fut again. How many 1st team players is that we’ve had oot injured.

Re: St.Mirren V's Dundee Utd - Friday 29th December (7.45pm)

Bill, i no longer have Arabzone but seen a few folk comment that he said we were 'too soft' and he seemed very angry post-match.

Looks like he's sussed out some of these players quite quickly.
