Anyone ever watched this before?
Written by Charlie Brooker.Started it on Netflix last night.
Quite unlike anything i've ever watched before.Very original concept and very current.
Quite thought provoking too.

Love Charlie Brooker's work - satirical dramas and Wipes.

Finished this last night.
Only 2 series (3 one hour long episodes each series)
1st series blew me away.2nd not quite as captivating but still decent, original storylines.
Would throroughly recommend this show.Like a cross between the Twilight Zone and A Clockwork orange but with a very modern theme.

Christmas special on C4 tonight at 9pm.If it's anything like the other episodes then it's well worth a watch IMO.

I don't know what genre i would classify it as Saint Obz.It's unlike anything i've ever watched before.
It is quite reminiscent of Twilight Zone but very up to date. The rise and rise of technology a huge theme in it.
The themes he writes about as shocking as they are seem that they could come to fruition, which is what makes it quite scary.

Superb, I'd class it as scary satire to the point of shitting yourself.
So not too far from reality.

Thanks for the tip. Watched the White Christmas episode last night. Its the possibility that this kind of world is not far away from reality and could quite easily become reality one day. Thats what really scared the shit out of me.
Good to see they still portrayed the polis as complete and utter cunts. Imagine the law with powers like that?!

Watched 'Nosedive',the 1st episode of series 3 last night.
Very clever as always.
Then re-watched 'White Christmas' the aforementioned episode from 2 years back (christ..2 years already!!).
If anything even better on 2nd watch.
An absolute masterpiece of modern television.

Episode 2 ('Playtest') and 3 ('Shut Up And Dance') watched.
Holy fuck.

Finished Series 3 last night.
Charlie Brooker continues to be a clever, clever bastard.
The episode 'Shut Up And Dance' was maybe the darkest thing he has ever wrote.

Up all night (for the 2nd night in a row) with chest/throat infection.
Started watching Series 4.
Episode 1 'Space Fleet' 9/10 - Very very clever. Both funny and deeply dark in parts.
Episode 2 'Arkangel' 7/10 - Again a clever premise and it was very well shot (Directed by Jodie Foster i noticed) but the storyline esculated quite ridiculously in the final two scenes. Let down an otherwise good episode.

Started watching these a couple of weekends back. Agree that Shut up and Dance was very dark, brilliant though.

Series 4 Ep 3 'Crocodile' 8/10 - Good Lord this episode esculated quickly. The mountainous location was a suitably bleak backdrop for one of the darkest episodes yet.
Ep 4 'Hang The DJ' 9/10 - The perfect remedy to 'Crocodile'. Really needed an uplifting and life afirming episode after the previous two. This series's 'San Junipero', but better imo.

Finished series 4 on Monday, some very, very good episodes in every series, but contrary to a lot of views, I wasn't that fussed with San Junipero

I thought it was overated too Mr B.
As i say i think 'Hang The DJ' was Brooker's better 'happy ever after' tale.

Series 4 - Ep 3 'Metalhead' 8/10 - Totally different from every other episode, thus far. Shooting it in black and white was clever. Made the episode feel more bleak, You also ended up hating this robotic/dog hybrid that would stop at nothing. Like a modern day 'Terminator', but more clinical.
S4 - Ep 4 'Black Museum' - 9/10 - Outstanding episode. Really, really clever. Fucking perfectly shot. Perfect casting. Perfect backdrop/set. Perfect build-up of the story. Perfect esculation towards the horrific last 10 minutes after an otherwise fairly enjoyable 'story-telling' episode. To incorporate all the other episodes into this finale in a small way...well,just...fucking bravo Mr Brooker.

Just finished watching it. I'm guessing the version I watched had every outcome as it was all over the place. You'd have to watch the Netflix proper version with the choices I'd imagine.
