Re: Brechin v dundee utd

Flood should be fit, apparently it was a dead leg on Sunday and was taken off as a precaution.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

Brechin have P12 D2 L10 but 7 of their 10 losses have been by a single goal incl a 0-1 scoreline 4 times. 2 draws both at home to Falkirk 1-1 & Livi 2-2. Only bigger defeats 0-4 v ICT (H), QotS 1-4 (A) & Pars 0-3 (H). The park's as tight as a duck's arse under water & may take us a whilie to get the feel of it. I'm gonna stand by the away dugout, you're so close you feel like you're playing.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

Should be 3 points from this one and with some of the other better teams in the league playing each other then we have a chance to extend our lead.

Never been to Brechin fur the football and should be different watch it from a hedge.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

We only beat them at home 1 nil of course courtesy of a late goal by McDonald.

But we are in much better form now and i would hope for a more comfortable afternoon and scoreline this time round.

They have scored very little goals in the Championship so even if we score twice it should be enough to ensure victory.

You win these games if you want to win the league.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

If we score early it could be a few. However it’s been pishing down for a few days and the pitch will be really heavy and slow. Tight park so getting space to play is vital. Think we might be in for a battle, a real test of character needed.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

I'll take any score where we score at least 1 goal more than them.

I think cos utd have said it was also patg theres a lot of folk not bought tickets yet that will be going.  Originally there was to be no segregation. Now they are saying there is which will reduce space for utd fans.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

Will be a tough game on a tight park.  Any win will do.  Play like we did last week and we'll pump them.  Really can't see them being as poorly organised as Falkirk were though.

That interviewer in the Durnan conversation: he was a bit confused over fixtures, was he not? Cannae be that hard to get simple facts right.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

I see this game ending in 2 ways, either we will put a few past them or scrape a 1-0 win. Either or im happy with the 3 points.

Seem to be a local Sports/media broadcaster B+T.

They do in-house media for both Dundee clubs it would seem.

Cheers Tek: I thought, given the date the video had been published (yesterday) that the interview had taken place that day as well.

Re: Brechin v dundee utd

Brechin have spent the day covering their pitch in covers.

Not sure how much they would actually halt the ground from freezing but at least they're trying to get it to go ahead.

Should be enough as it's only forecast to go to -1°C.
