According to a ton friend of mine Tom o'ware can be brilliant at times but is also v prone to a brain fart...usually resulting in a goal. Can't think I've seen him personally - he didn't play at tannadice last time out, I don't think

Seems a good player from what I've seen but your Morton supporting mate would know better as he would have seen him more. Have to remember the boy is 21/22 so something that could be coached out of him?
Anyone know how long Briels is out for?

I'm the same as you - I'd heard a lot of good things - so asked him.
Still young, so can't right him off and he did say he had some excellent games too. Take him and quotingo 👍👍👍 maybe if we do go up we will look at the best of the league. Sibbald also a free at end of season. Always thought he was a good wee player. He only signed on at falkirk again as they were demanding a good chunk of cash for his development fee that nobody was willing to pay.

Quitongo is a decent player, has a ton of pace which is always good to have, especially as a sub against tired legs.
Sibbald is another good player, he'll be at Hibs/Hearts/Aberdeen next year I reckon.
Was impressed with Brad McKay from ICT at centre half, also the boy Mullen at Livi. Both good players.
I think January will be a testing time but have every faith in Lazlo to strengthen when/if players do leave.
Quinn won't be offered a contract extension,if Jordie Briels is out for at least another month-2 months then we should cut our loses with him and free up wages and hopefully we can get rid of Tosheny and N'Koyi and add to the quality we already have.

Eh think January is absolutely crucial fir us, if we’re tap oh the league eh think ST will gee sum funds and tell Csaba to go and secure promotion. Also expect N’Koyi, Briels, Quinn to be let go.
Clubs doon in England huv said to be interested in Scott Fraser since last January and eh fully expect even mare now, especially with the form he’s in since getting oor his fut problem, as Tek said he’s nay interest in extending his deal, and sure eh seen Jim Spence on Twitter say there’s been murmurings of scouts up ti watch um past 2 gems.
Jamie Robson is a difficult ane, ed let um go if we get a decent offer and a replacement, he played affy well at the weekend but eh still think teams target um as the weak link fir us and if we do go up he’ll no be oor first choice left back.

Have to agree with that, however if some clubs want Fraser, they may wait until the summer to get him for free. we may lose out on some cash but he may be instrumental on us gaining promotion. As for Robson, I feel he has improved since Scobbie was added in at CH, someone to talk him through the game and that's what he has been missing. If he signed an extension of lets say 2 years, wouldnt be a bad thing having him and another LB battling out to be in the starting eleven.

No players worth keeping will leave in January and if they do we must be proper fecked financially.
Simple as this if your not a regular starter and we can get someone in to do a better job then off you go if we can offload.
Need a right mid another centre half plus another option up top.

I'd release Quinn and Briels and with their wages together (£1600 pw?) go for a decent loan that can guarentee us the title just like when Hibs went for Commons and Ambrose last January.

This chat of Fraser and Robson leaving in Jan - I really wouldn't want that.
Fraser is starting to show what an important player he is now that he is being played in his best position and Robson has been much improved since Scobie has been back in the team at CH.
Even if we got decent offers for the pair of them I would hope they would stay, even if it means losing them for free next summer (not sure when they are out of contract).

Ed hope ST will reject any bids with the thought that promotion fir oor club will be worth mare than the money we’ll get fir 2 players with 6 months left,
fay what ev heard previous there is nay chance of Fraser signing a new deal and will be interest in January so ST might just take a 5h!te bid rather than nothing ata.

Again I agree with this. Can you imagine the furore if Thompson sells them then we don't go up. It would be bedlam.

This is what I was talking about. The fact is though that surely the chairman checks with the manager to see if he would cope.
Oh wait....been here before.

He played at Tannadice earlier in the season! Remember him gesturing to the George Fox after McHugh had equalised before Mcdonald scored the winner and shut his p***. Going by what Morton fans say he's not been as good this year as he was last season.

Would we get a developement fee for Fraser at the end of the season anyway?
If so don't see much point in selling him the now.

Agree. Same with Robson. Keep them until the end of the season, if they go for free so be it, we need them this season.

not sure how it works with the development fee.
but if they go to a club outwith Scotland is it not a lot less? I'm sure I have read something like this recently.

I honestly don't know mate.
Did we not get 400k for Scott Allan from West Brom though?
The rules seem quite convoluted regards the Developement fee ruling.

Listening ti Csaba on the Zone there, and he’s saying he wants Fraser to sign a new deal and play another season here hopefully in the premiership. He doesni sound to confident though that that’ll happen, almost as if he expects a bid and expects a bid to be accepted, also says that we will be active in January and look to replace anyone we loose.
Fir me we must reject any offer and just accept he goes fir free come May, because he will be dead central to us winnin or loosing the league imo, if we loose um it hands a big boost ti St Mirren even mare so if they keep the boy Morgan.
